Totally excited! Anyone going to this show? OLP :love:

Lord knows I love a good rock show, but theyre even better when you meet great fans of the band.. As ive been doing for three years with the band Fuel.. anyone know? But yea, Im diggin OLP, and Ive liked them for a while. When i was younger, I was addicted to the supermans dead video, and that got me liking them. Then I fell in love with Is Anybody Home, and went out to buy my first OLP cd.. Happiness.. now Im obsessed with every track on gravity and have since become a die hard OLP fan..

So I'd love to meet some of you guys at the show in Atlantic City.. but by reading all these posts, i dont see one for it.. Oh well, if ya can, ya can, if not, then no.. theyre are still tickets available for any who are intereted.. But hey, I'll still be on this bbs regardless..

BTW- my names Dresden, nice to meet you :)

Ultra, you amaze me, how do you do it? Don't you have a job or anything? I wish I could follow the band around. That would be my ideal life...that and maybe working at the Renaissance Fair, or running infommercials.

haha, in my mind there is no such thing as stalking. it's just called really liking something and seeking it out, although restraining orders sometimes slow me down, i have the inner strength to prevail, and there's nothing wrong with it. :evil:

For anyone really think headed, this is the part where I clear up that I'm just kidding and I don't actually stalk people, so put the phone down, you don't have to call the police, I'm totally normal....well.....

Im prolly going to jump in line at about 5:30 to 6 (when i went there to see Fuel, Lit, and Better than Ezra, thats about the time the line started and I always got front and center :nod: ) So, see you there? You seem like the right kinda person to hang out with an a show

I am probably getting to AC around 2ish., 2:30ish.

Yeah you can try to find me. I will probably be somewhere in the front. I still can't get over OLP playing AC. I see high rollers and things liek that at the show. it is weird. Just don't come up to me like a stalker :evil: , say are you gail. Haha. That freaks me a bit. I will be there. you know what I look like.

to anyone else. I do have a job. I work full time. I am also older then you guys so i don't have to answer to parents or anything like that. I tell you I know alot of people are amazed by me and all. i just love seeing the guys live. I see alot of you guys still in your teens( 16, 17, 18) seeing OLP here there and everywhere adn I am like I wasn't going anywhere at that age. I could just see it now.

Aw! Hun, dont worry! I def know what it feels like to be used as a "band connection" so i would NEVER do that to you! I get asked every damn day of my life from some strangers to get them "in" with Fuel, (asking emails, phone numbers, addys, relatives.. you wouldnt believe have of it!) And Im not even a REAL connection. the guys just know me and ive been to damn near a million shows. Its not like were "BFF" ya know? like some ppl think....Anyway, You just know your OLP thats all, and your like the only other person on this board going.. I'll be there with a few of my friends over from the Fuel BBS...

I dont know who started this, but I'll have CM written on my hand.. sorry if im biting an idea, but i read someone elses post and they said thats what they had so other cm'ers can recognize them..

Im sorry if i came off stalkerish, im just real eager to meet other hardcore OLP fans, as i am the only one ive ever met.. lol hahahaha.. I'll prolly get to AC around 12 and walk the casinos for a bit...

Yea, lotta high rollers in AC.. The venue is right on the casino floor and i like to sit in line and watch peoplel waste away their paychecks.. I once saw a guy cry cuz he lost a few thousand bucks that, by his sobby complaint, belonged to his mothers retirement funds... lol..

grr...i want to go SO bad. I thought that Philly would be enough to fill my desire but OLP is like freakin' heroine, once you get a little you need more and more. And to see them in a casino...that would be classic. Oh well, gotta work....but I'll be day dreaming the whole time. :mrgreen:

sooo...are they going to be putting tickets back up for sale for this cause now I can go!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy....I've got such luck that they rescheduled it!! Now I just have to figure out how to get from Philly to Atlantic City, but that's not that big of an issue. WHOHOO...Oct. 18th baby, I'm so there!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

actually I think AC is only about 1/2-1hour outside of Philly.

Greyhound goes there. Also see if there are any places that have the casino trips. Most major cities have them. You don't have to stay at teh casino or anything like that.

greyhound may be best though. :love:

My friends who I took to the Philly concert loved OLP so much they offered to take me. I just have to get the tickets. I called the casino and they said that tickets are still available and that I just have to call ticketmaster, so that's what is on tab for tomorrrow. I hope everything works out, cause if so, I'm going to Atlantic City baby! :mrgreen:

i might go 2 being its on a friday. its a lil far for a one day trip but hotels are mad expensive. so im not sure. but they said tix were still avaible b/c i thought it was sold out?

i haven't called ticketmaster yet...that's happening tomorrow, but i called the hotel and the woman at ticket information asked me what show and i said the october 18th, and she said, "our lady peace?" and i was like, "yeah". and i asked her if tickets were still available and she said, "yes, you can either get them here at the hotel, or order them through ticketmaster" and i asked her if they would have them on sale up until the event, and she said that depends on whether or not it sells out. So i'm assuming it hasn't sold out yet. But I'm still going to try to call ticketmaster and get them tomorrow just in case. She might be wrong. Ticketmaster will know.

On these recheduled date, Washington DC and AC, are they still going to have Greenwheel and Audiovent as opening bands or what' s the deal with that?
