after the part "the wires, the fuse, the things that you dont, etc etc." after that part breaks the track in the background of the guy talking.. what the hell is he saying?!?

Good question, I have no idea.

One lyric I've always struggled with was from 4 AM... I know the lyric is officially "known that I loved you all along", but I can't help thinking that Raine secretly sang "know, Dad, I loved you all along" during the final chorus. It fits very well with the story behind the song, and is very personal. And it does sound like he sings that lyric in the final stride.

If true, it profoundly changes the storyline from "If I don't make it [a] known [fact] that I loved you all along", to "If I don't make it [to the hospital], know Dad, I loved you all along". Remember, the "phone call made me realize I'm wrong" part is referring to when he received a phone call that his dad was in the hospital.

I believe Jonny is correct. We tracked it down years back, and that was the closest answer we came up with. There were some samples from a Terminalhead CD that were used in the song, but I don't think the vocal byte was part of it like we had originally thought.
