If they played Naveed from cover to cover...

Would they play Julia with or without a piano?

Just a random thought.

Before the releaase of Burn Burn i talked to Steve on Facebook:

I "Hi Steve,
I contact you to make my congratulations for Paper Moon. Particularly i love in this song(with falsetto and other things)your minute long guitar solo...Steve this is AMAZING!!!!
Besides I have a small question, you told that the song have been made with a old piano by Duncan, my question is can will we have got a piano version of Paper Moon like Julia? Perhaps played the piano from you...

I'm very excited for Burn Burn.....OLP ARE MY DRUG!!!!!
I hope that you answer to me....
Regards Steve "

Steve "Hey Stefano!

Thanks very much man. Yeah Paper Moon is a special one. I don't think that there will be a piano version any time soon, we scrapped the piano a while ago.

I hope that you like Burn Burn. I am very proud of it.

Talk to you soon,
Steve"

I think that the piano isn't in OLP's plan :-)

Yeah man, piano version of Julia is never coming back. Even if OLP starts using keys again.

Personally I would much rather hear the rock version...

I think it'd be cool to hear a hybrid of the two... Like starting out with the piano version and having it go into the rock version from Naveed.

Not during a Naveed set though... during a regular set.

Yeah that'd be awesome! They could come in with electrics during the solo (should they choose to actually play a piano in the beginning). If Raine decides to play gigs for his new solo album, I could see him having sucess doing a duet over the piano with Chantal.

I think that's the best idea for it, to have Raine do a piano-version on his own solo tours.

While I prefer the piano version of Julia, I'm pretty sure that as everyone else has been stating, the whole idea of the complete album tours is to reproduce the albums as closely as possible to the originals. I sort of wish there was a studio recording of the piano version, but the live one we do have is still awesome. It makes the song a lot more intimate.
