It's official!!

iTunes is offering the pre-order video for "Monkey Brains" when you pre-order the album. You will get the Monkey Brains video for free when you pre-order it on iTunes when it becomes available.

this is what it says on the OurLadyPeace.net newsletter that was just received:

"'Burn Burn' is also available for preorder at Amazon.ca and iTunes. If you preorder now on iTunes, you're album will include the bonus tracks "Time Bomb" and "The Right Stuff" as well as the preorder only video for "Monkey Brains"."

Wow! Good to see the band taking a risk on this one. Here's hoping it'll pay off!

I can see this making a sweet-ass video. I wonder if they'll keep the middle slow-down in the single version.

great! I'm really proud of them, hopefully they do Escape Artist as the third single!!

I\m not all that surprised at teh Monkey Brains pick though, Raine did say in an interview recently that it was "the most creative song they'd made since, probably 2001"

Sorry to disappoint some of you, but I think that the 'Monkey Brains' video is studio footage. I checked iTunes and it lists 'Monkey Brains (Studio Footage) (Bonus Track)' as part of the pre-order package. I don't think 'Monkey Brains' is the next single... I'm putting my money on 'Never Get Over You' - it's the most logical choice to follow up the fast-paced 'All You Did...'.

Well... I doubt they would release studio footage as the video for their next single... :lol:

Trust me, 'Monkey Brains' MIGHT (although very unlikely) be the next single, but we aren't getting the official video for it with the iTunes pre-order.

Yeah but why would the .NET newsletter only mention the Monkey Brains "studio clip" when there are studio clips from other songs on the Deluxe CD as well?... and why would it say that this offer is exclusive to iTunes pre-order, when in fact u can get the studio clip of Monkey brains on the Deluxe CD from Amazon or B&N or anywhere else?

All good questions. But maybe the better question is why does the iTunes pre-order list 'Monkey Brains (Studio Footage) (Bonus Track)' and NOT 'Monkey Brains (Official Video)'?
