OLP Myspace

Post by Mark Loj »

Don't scowled me or rip me for posting this. I've seen dumber topics started before. Until what I say didn't mean anything or come about. But I've been keeping my eye on OLP's myspace. Up until this Tuesday, the last login was 11/3/08. Then yesterday it was accessed, along with today as well. You might not be surprised to see their new single pop up on there in the next few days. With a new design and layout for their site. Just a passing thought. But we might be close to something........

I was thinking, and hoping, the same thing. But honestly, when Steve goes on to his account, he goes onto OLPs. It's a nice thought, but I'm not getting my hopes up ha.

I agree, this is good news, if it is in fact true.

I think he's under the impression that he's not well liked, because if i'm not mistaken, it was he who was banned from the hub and was possibly the one who was selling OLP bootlegs or material on ebay or something similar to that...

although, in my old age, I could just be mistaken.

Well, I think the main reason for the OLP log on yesterday was to post the info about Cut to the Drummer because Jeremy will be there. I'm not saying you're wrong though, but it might be something as simple as just a log on.

Right, Cut to the Drummer is coming up! It's a disappointment that Billy Talent isn't putting on FUMS this year. I wouldn't go anyway, seeming as it is in Toronto, but I know tons of people that enjoy it. Last year had City & Colour and K-os, I do believe...

I don't know if this is relevant to Myspace. It's relevant to Facebook.

And all of you are probably going to shake your head in an, "Oh dear, oh dear..." way. But you know. I must ask.

I have Jer on Facebook [when I found out that regular fans added him] and he's on the chat. Of course, I've never had any close calls with any of my musical heroes, and I'm so tempted to talk to him, but I'd feel really stupid, and like some sort of ditzy fan-girl. Since you folks are the people I would come frolicking along to for this kind of thing, I did do just that. Do you think it'd be too... silly to talk to him one day? I wouldn't be entirely stupid and ask him what he cooked his wifey for dinner or anything, but just general music questions (and how the HELL I can play my drums!).

So. If I ever get another opportunity, do you think he'd mind?

Sorry I'm "freaking out" over this, but I can't help it. I get excited by this kind of thing.

And you can be totally harsh with your answers.

Thanks, y'all!

Have you met him before?

Hahaha... I laughed the one day... someone's "name" was Cat something or other, and Jeremy was like, "SOMEBODY kill that cat!"
