As you can see Chantal and Raine both produced track 11 together.

He was pretty good on SNL a couple weeks ago, I"ll admit that. Although I'm not the guy's biggest fan.

What if I said I'm an OLP fan and then butchered one of their songs on live TV? Do you think Raine would help me out with an album too?

Argh damn this guy lol. I can sing all the old songs in the right tones and *IN TUNE* even! Why did this dude get to hang with Raine for butchering an already mediocre song (in OLP standards) in front of millions on TV? Seriously, a dude like him can't sing like Raine.

ahh come on... by performing that song, millions of people were exposed to OLP.

that kind of PR value is better than advertising.

If Burn Burn came out around that time, sales may have increased.

I invite any of you to try out for American Idol. If you make it anywhere, then sing an OLP song. It'll be a whole different story.

BTW - there is a huge fan following who like Cook's version of Innocent better than OLP's. I personally don't agree with them... but still, it says a lot.

Now make with your sarcastic comments. For example "yeah... it means they have bad taste."

The thing is... was OLP even mentioned at all on Idol? I watched a YouTube clip of him doing the song (don't watch the show), and I don't remember him ever mentioning them, but maybe it was clipped out. If he didn't, I don't see that as good exposure at all.

The people who liked Cook's version better are talking about the studio version. The live version was awful. Yes, it opened up more people to OLP, but also probably turned a few away thanks to his delivery. I'm not saying Cook doesn't have talent, I'm just saying that he did a bad job that night.
