i remember local h
they sang that song
ummm
bound to the floor or some such
its on my ipod
somewhere
i would look it up and find out what its actually called and all
but my ipod is roughly 12 inches or 30 cms away from my laptop and currently buried under a seemingly insurmountable mountain of 3 cds and 1 piece of paper that is partially covering it.. on and it has that ipod cover dealie that apple provides them things with.. thats clearly way too much work compared to like.. posting in here and writing an essay in regards to the subject.. but either way.. i remember that song that i liked by them.. ive never heard anything mind you but that song was cool and stuff
i think i heard it when i lived in jax
i cant remember really but i figured this thread needed some
so.. you know... i posted in it... in all likelihood i shall spam the hell out of it by talking about something useless or useful.. maybe i shall openly ponder what i was thinking about this morning in here in a serious of posts all related to one another but not in one post because that would be too easy and wouldnt necessarily pad my post count sufficiently

go fuck yourself.
Bound to the Floor and The Kids are Allright
Are their two songs I know the most.
Unfortunatley the feed crapped out at the begining of Embassys set so I couldn't tell you much about Local H
The video wasn't bad.
The audio sounded like it was being recorded from a digicam.
Lows were just fine but it would crap out with a drum beat or any moderate guitar playing.

now to start pondering out loud about what i was pondering in my head while trying to sleep at 7 or so in the morning
how does heat effect the velocity of a paint ball?
paintballs definitely travel faster when colder, mainly due to the paint being frozen or semi-frozen and therefore more solid which would reduce drag on the sphere.. i can understand that part but where im stuck in the theory isnt with the paintball itself but the mechanism its fired in.. the paintballs velocity is also dependent on the velocity at which its fired from the gun and that would be dependent on CO2 cylinder and the amount of CO2 expelled (which i think is dependent on its pressure state since its pressurized), for the same reason the cold benefits the paintball itself (compresses the balls size an creates a less fluid state) the same effect should be exerted on the gas in the cartridge and that, should technically, in turn reduce the pressure in the cartridge... if thats true would the drop in pressure in the cartridge result in a drop in velocity once leaving the cartridge that is equal to the increased velocity due to the ball being frozen or semi-frozen? or would the drop in pressure be negligible.. conversely of course is the fact that heat would cause the gas to expand and assuming the expansion isnt to the point where the cartridge explodes, this would increase the pressure and should, in turn, increase the initial velocity of the ball leaving the gun which would then have to contend with an increase in drag as it travels dues to its slightly larger size and the lack of uniformity in its contents (since they'd move around due to the forces exerted on the ball which would slow it down and example of which would be to throw 3 empty plastic bottles one w/ a liquid fully, one partially full and finally one w/o a liquid in it.. the full one should travel the furthest and in a "nicer" looking manner than the partially full one or the empty one)
if anyone was actually wondering why i thought about this.. for some reaosn i thought about my grad ceremony and the fact i missed the practice one.. the reason.. i corked in the head perfectly in between my hat and the face mask i had on while out with my buddies playing some paintball.. the shot was from roughly 10-15 ft away from one of my best friends and left a welt the size of a golf ball at one point.. it hurt.. the next day.. it hurt even more and i had a massive headache... the incident took place in june and therefore the heat thankfully slowed the paintball down but i then realized that the heat couldve caused its initial velocity to be greater and given the distance was not far, it wouldve actually resulted in my welt being as bad as it was... (if the distance was greater the impact wouldve been significantly less considering i had a few other such shots that day that i barely felt)
