My girlfriend works for Best Buy, those of you who don't have a BB credit card should DEFINATELY apply ASAP. They're in the process of changing credit companies and when you get your next statement in the mail, you'll get the opportunity to apply for the new card in the mail. When you complete it and MAIL it back, you will recieve a new card with $100 of credit on it. I didn't have a card but still applied for one anyways, the cut off date is June 28 so I hope it isn't too late. Those of you who already have one, just wait for a statement to come in the mail or if you don't owe anything just go in and get a candy bar or something and wait for them to mail you a new card. Don't blame me if it doesn't work! Apparently the new card will let people have the 3-month payment plan on any sum due, currently you need a minimum of $100 on the card in order to get 3 months to pay it back so that's a nice little perk...I can pay $2/month for my Ocean's 11 DVD. Whether or not you like Best Dud, $100 for free is a great way to stick it to 'em. I'm debating getting a couple of PSP games or Wii (if they ever get them back in stock) with my new-found wealth.
If it doesn't work for you guys...blame Sand.

Does it supposedly work the same way if I do it online? If they have an online app...

From what I know, it doesn't work online. You should go into the store and apply for the card, it's faster and you get approved on the spot. The statement thing, however you need to do it over the mail. It does sound too good to be true but she heard about it during one of her store meetings and this promotion is one of the ways they're trying to sell the cards because they make a lot of money off it (a lot more than $100) with the Card Care, interest, and just the fact that it increases sales because people always have money on them and 3 months to pay it off.
