Thank God Saul is on the cover. Once he was gone, so was the good OLP.

actually, that's pretty fitting since they mentioned that he is on the cover "one last time"

so it's also the last time we'll see a release with some good OLP on it.

that cover is AMAZING.
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

That's a nice cover. Basically if it's an OLP CD with Saul on the cover, it's a winner in my book. They could do just about anything with it other than that and I'd like it. I love Gravity and HIPT, but the covers were lacking without Saul.

Anyway, looks like either a digi-pak or slipcase, doesn't it? Doesn't look like a perfect square and then look at the top...it looks like it actually folds over like a slipcase. That would be a first for them if that's the case.

Holy crap. Yay Saul!
Although it's sad that this is his last OLP cover. They did some REALLY great covers with him.

Yeah he's pretty fantastic.
I think this is the best thing they have done for their fans in a long time.
Its really rather good.

My faith in people on the CM takes yet another hit :freak:

It's quite sad that a key complaint about .net was no exclusive content. OLP is trying to do something good for their fan club members after all the problems on the site - We provide exclusive content, and you steal it and provide it to non-members. And you wonder why we've been unable to get anything exclusive. On top of that, everyone thinks it's great that you've stolen copywritten material which is a violation of the terms of the fan club. Good job people. Be proud.

This kind of thing is going to get leaked, whether we're obvious about it or not. The kind of exclusive content we're looking for that would remain OLP.NET member only is stuf like videos and messages from the band, and most of all CONTESTS. The only thing that won't eventually get leaked to everyone else is contests, seeing as that's impossible. So instead of giving us things we would have seen for free if the fan club didn't exist, give us something that can only exist as a result of the fan club.

It would be nice if you could stop talking like you are representing all fans or all members. Contests were not the number one request of fans who were recently asked... ppl requested exclusive photos/videos/audio, and very specifically, to see the album artwork first.

That doesn't change the fact that if the fanclub didn't exist, everyone would have seen it first... for free. But I guess we'll play along with your stupid little hierarchy system. Don't get all pissy with me about it; if it hadn't been me who posted it, it would have been someone else only moments later.

One idea would have been to not make the new single accessible to everyone... yet again. That pissed me off.

It would have been, except that it was already released to radio so it wasn't exclusive or unreleased anyway.

wow, an image of something that will be released in a month was shared.

a) that's pretty shoddy exclusive content. a preview of an album cover. whoopie. totally worth money. right.
b) your FAITH in CMers has been shaken by this? overdramatic much?

a) members asked for it, we got it. Others (Coalition, Myspace, Sony) agreed to give us a lead time before they share it
b) not overdramatic when it's the end of a long serious of ridiculous crap over the last 9 months.
