Orlando Hard Rock Live - October 14th

So I preordered my tickets last night for this show. I'm pretty stoked. It'll be the first time I've seen OLP since Canada Day, 2002!

That being said, we (My girlfriend and I) are staying directly at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, if anyone is attending this event and want to meet up, just let me know. I'm not sure if anyone has been to this venue before, it does look like a pretty sweet setup. Just hope I can get in early again.

Any info, feel free to post it along! :D

traffic in orlando is a bitch
people on the I4 are fucktards for the most part.
much much worse than the worse ive seen in either TO or montreal.
hell my bro got the finger by a guy who was driving on his ass the other day while driving in the middle of 3 lanes.
it was great.
there was NO traffic in the left lane.
NONE.
that may have been the I95 but thats besides the point.
fucktard.

Be prepared to wait a long time. More then likely this will be taped for MTV. it is GA. It is only a floor and everyone moves to the front cause they want to be on TV.. Also the cameras are all over the audience and can sometimes block your view..other then that have fun. The sound is okay. I went to a show there last year. right in universal Studios..

Luckily I won't have to worry about traffic, since I'm staying right at the Hard Rock Hotel, so it's walking distance! But I can imagine that it's overly retarded to drive around there. My gf wanted us to rent a car and go to Busch Gardens, which I believe is about an hour or two away, but I'm not sure if I want to venture on the roads that much

Oh, and if MTV is taping, that just means I'll be in their way. I plan on being up front anyway, if I get squished, it's a small price to pay. I just hope they're doing a soundcheck or something (I plan on showing up plenty early just in case).

And Boston show would have been cool too. But the tickets for Orlando were cheaper and included the hotel. If the price is right, the price is right! Maybe if I can find some folks to go on a road trip I just might journey down for the Boston show...I'll let you know and we'll meet up.

haha
its always worth the trip
and since the theme parks are west of the city, if you left around 9 or so am (we leave around 8 from jax and its an 2.5-3 hour drive for us) you'd be able to cover the whole park easily given most of our drive is to orlando and thru that crappy traffic downtown (which you would miss)

I think we probably went to some farm. :(

Our school reminded me of that Simpsons episode where they're on the school bus to the box factory looking at the students from the other schools at like the fireworks factory ;)

I highly doubt that MTV will be taping it, but if they do, that would be sweet. I don't thinK Where Are You was a big enough single though.

Then again, they did tape Hot Hot Heat.

MTV tapes all Hard Rocks Live unless they changed the schedule. acts there the past two years ahve been taped adn aired abut 1-2 monhts later on MTV and MTV2..
