In Repair Live

I figured the Live DVD wasn't getting much love right despite being officially released in the US yesterday, so I'm going to post something on it (plus my preorder isn't in yet so I can't discuss HIPT):

Isn't In Repair on the Live DVD one of the most amazing live songs in the history of the human race?

I don't know what it is, but the song feels so real and raw and has an incredibly passionate feel to it absent from the studio version (which I'm not knocking by the way, SM is my lord and master).

And the end of the bridge where Raine starts screaming?

... I just wet myself thinking of it.

If you haven't heard it in a while, do so. You'll have to run to the bathroom too. It's a huge shame that it's not on the CD .

I know, that's awesome, and I didn't even know about the whole Thief Acoustic Live that's under the special features section, that's amazing too. Most of the stuff that's not on the cd is the best stuff on the dvd... The Birdman, and Right Behind You are both really cool, but NOTHING compares to In Repair, especially that section, that just sends chills down my spine. Drive sounds really cool on here too, but just, you forget since it's right after you hear In Repair, just ... yea, I've been waiting for the dvd too and it kicks major ass.

ya...in repair from the live dvd is probably my absolute favourite olp recording.....the bridge when raine loses his mind, and then the the absolutely mind blowing guitar solo, which was lacking on the SM version.....not to start a fight, but that solo is what separates steve from mike (although i absolutely love both of them)
