'Where Are You?' Video Shoot and Live 8 Pictures from .net

The video for 'Where are You?' was shot yesterday. OLP.net has provided some pictures and also has said that the release of the video will be sometime in mid-August. The video seems very cool (note Raine's resemblance to Ben from Billy Talent

). They have also added some pictures from [url=ourladypeace.net]Live 8[/url] to the website. Furthermore, it was revealed that Joel Shearer is the extra musician OLP is bringing along with them for their upcoming tour. He is from a band called Pedestrian and also plays on the new record according to the Pedestrian website. Lastly, according to OLP.net, new shows will be announced this week, so stay tuned!

finally some action and momentum in olp world leading up to this album release...

i heard dean blundell from 102.1 the edge say (after he played where are you) that there would be an olp show announcement soon...hopefully it will be one of the small shows they are talking about on olp.net

woooaoaaoaoaahhh news!

here we go...

1. goodness, raine DOES look a lot like ben :uh:

i don't think it works with the jacket though. i liked the old hair better.

2. speaking of hair....COLOURFUL MOHAWKS!!!!! weird punks with crazy skyhigh colourful mohawks does not work with our lady peace!!! :crying:

man did that picture give me a scare. and i hated that "did punk rock get it right" line from the first time i heard it

3. the picture right after the mohawks one is interesting. i like it. from the way the two women in that picture have their arms out, i suspect there will be a really cheesy march going on right there.

4. chinese dragon! i like that! so, it seems like they've taken on a theme of representing different cultural groups. nice, might be a little clichéd? i don't know. steve patting the dragon...hahahaa

oh, and i like duncan's black coat :nod:

5. back to the mohawk people. if i could put a speechbubble to this picture, i'd put it in front of duncan's mouth and it would say "damn i wish i hadn't shaved my head"

6. i like jer's attire.

yeah, i think my biggest thumbs down is how raine looks. i wish he hadn't done that to himself.

i think this video will turn out...well...okay, but reminiscent of the innocent one.

Raine needs to go back to the James-Potter-fresh-off-Quidditch-broom look of the OMA video.

Oh, and welcome to OLP Joel (I seriously justed typed Jamie there for a sec)! From what I heard at Live 8, it sounds like he's got skill, and I'm very interested to hear him play with the guys.
