Wow. That's really stupid. It's harmless really. It's being used for medicinal purposes. They might as well ban morphine. It was invented to get people off of heroine, which was made to get people off of opium. Morphine is addictive and deadly if too much is used. Cannibis, not addictive and not deadly but relieves pain. Hm, smart call by the Bush admin.

morphine used in moderation under supervised dosages helps.
marijuana isn't controled and cannot be supervised or the dosage regulated. that's the problem here as compared to morphine.

wouldn't it be through an IV? if so they have a machine that allows certain dosages at certain intervals, and it will lock you out when it's been to close since your last dosage.

there ARE morphine pills that doctors let surgery patients take home. after i had my ACL reconstructed, my parents got a tiny little bottle of .05mg pills.
