death from above better than clumsy and beautiful midnight? hardly
and sloan shows up like 4 times on that list, and pesonally I don't think they are that great., where's Burton Cummings? or the Guess Who?

Sloan doesn't write the best singles but they do write complete albums better than any other band in Canada in my opinion.

Also, I think Jagged Little Pill should be higher along with MGB and OLP. Some of the newer albums were a little higher than you would think.

don't you guys know, the purpose of a top 50, 20, 30 list, is for the writer or the person who is making the list to credit THEIR fav bands, and obviously the person who did this one is a retard, and doesn't know that canadian music extends beyond Sloan, and Matthew Good,.

He put K-OS joyfull rebellion at number 11, and yes it was a very good cd, but at number 11 of all time? noppe

it's just one person's opinion. it means nothing to me, lol. i'm not a HUGE matt good fan, but beautiful midnight is really good and i don't see how it's number 50 whereas K-os and the weakerthans are under #20...

I've never heard any Sloan songs I don't think so I can't comment on them beating my favouritest album of all time (Harvest ). And Blue is also an amazing album. I think Beautiful Midnight should definitely have been higher than 50 though - sooooo much better than Billy Talent.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

It would be better if they published a top 50 according to Canadian or North American album sales.
