may i remid ppl of who aided the 13 colonies against Britain, gave you the statue of liberty. Not to mention France was teh second nation to adopt a democratic ideal.
PS all the fathers of america spent alot of time developing their theories in france and were quite fond of teh french Ex. Jefferson
PPS hmmm i don't mean this as a insult to your natuonal pride but America was one of the last to enter the war and lost one of the fewest troops, so consider france not jumping into the Iraqi War the same as America not jumping into ww2

we jumped in late because we saw an economic asset in the war by trading to all countries in this war. it was in WW I where we did that but the english priated the ships full of US supplies. we wern't pissed off to much because well, we got paid for it and as long as we got paper for our stuff we didn't care who got it and who it was intended for. but then the german army started intercepting our ships and destroyed them. thus our involement into WW I. WW II was because of the "attack" on pearl harbor, that we actually knew about but we kept our mouths shut about.
