I'm not that huge on this CD... I don't know why. It seems with OLP I can't listen to over and over and over... like some other bands. It's good, but it kinda gave me a slight headache after listening to it too much. Probably just me. I'd give this effort an 8 of 10.

i'm finding that i enjoy walking in circles a lot more than other people seem to be. the "more and more" part especially. it reminds me of the "simple things i need" from their performance of Not Afraid at the 2003 junos, or the "is gone is gone" from Naveed.

although i haven't yet heard it live, i'm thinking it would be excellent.

That would be the bridge for WIC. Similar, but not dead on.

Question, whats on the CD of the regular version of the album. (for those of us who got the Dueldisk and never saw what was on the CD)
-Sarah

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

After hanging around for about three years, I am going to delurk simply to reiterate what most people have said about this album being super crazy awesome. Somehow this makes sense to me.

I think I like Walking in Circles a hell of a lot more than I'm supposed to, but it's so damn catchy! And I love how during the part where Raine's singing "and more and more and more and more" there are people in the background singing "and more and more and more" - and the creepy thing is a lot of you probably know what I'm talking about here.

My favourite song is still Angels/Losing/Sleep, then WAC, then Love and Trust (although the name makes me think of Pearl Jam), and then Boy (although the name makes me think of U2). Not drooling over Apology just yet, and World on a String is BIZARRE - but not in a bad way. I really wish Al Genina was longer. I enjoy Where Are You a lot more in the context of the rest of the album, and kinda wish there were more songs with a similar tempo. At times I wish the CD was a tad bit less mellow, but overall it's uber-good.

You mean the art on the cd itself? It's exactly the same as the cover art on the booklet.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

Probably Steve and/or Bob (since both did some vocals on the album).

That's my absolute favorite part of the song.

It's probably a Canadian/American difference. All of the other cds have subtle (or not-so-subtle) differences, too.

Oooh I said the thing about that part reminding me of the "is gone is gone" part in another thread! Yay for you agreeing!
