Pirates attacking cruise ships, hurricanes, earth quakes, riots, wars. Methinks this is the end of the world. Or at least close.

Oh, I agree. Definitely getting close to the end of this world.

Is it wrong that...I'm kind of thrilled? I mean, I'm not religious at all, so it's nothing like that, I'm just thrilled that maybe, finally, years of going on the way humans have, maybe we'll actually have things set right on this earth. maybe

i just think it's gonna be beautiful.

I'm kind of glad that humans havn't figured out ways to inhabit other planets. We'd probably just fuck them up as well.

well, the Biosphere II project (the creation of various self-sustaining, self-regulating ecosystems in which humans can coexist, enclosed within a bulding) is still under study. they made quite a bit of progress when they did it back in the nineties, the only problem they had to figure out was how to sustain oxygen levels. too much organic matter in the soil causing microbes to take up the oxygen in metabolism, and humans can't thrive unaided by a machine...yada yada.

um, basically, we're getting close.

Interesting. Here's the plan guys once this biosphere is created, the CM will move to the moon.

it'll probably be built on mars.

Fine. Newer plan, once they perfect this biosphere, the CM is moving to mars!

we'll be old and wrinkly by then, if alive at all.

For once could you not crush my dreams? *picks up the pieces of his shattered dreams and glues them back together*
