I'm hoping I can get the first part of the campaign and dungeon written by Monday. I have to make some NPC character sheets, and layout a dungeon and stuff for you guys. Hopefully we can get going on Tuesday. This'll be the only thing I'm working on for the next while.
I'll give a crash-course to the people who haven't played before, and Mike willing, we'll be on our way.

Care to give us a taste of the campaign you're cooking up?

It's pretty simple. The first part is just some item recovery to get you guys accustomed to doing things like getting around, getting information, some skill use, and combat.
The rest hasn't been written yet, but by tomorrow we'll have enough to get started.

Josh, did you add more ranks for your skills for level two and three?
The max ranks for level 2 is 5, and level 3 is 6, but you only have 4 in each.
You get 2 + INT modifier for level 2 and three, so you have 8 more skill points to distribute, max of 6 ranks per skill.
Oh, i forgot to mention that they Total Attack Bonus on a weapon is the same as the Melee or Ranged attack bonus above it, depending upon what type of weapon it is.

Hm. I thought I did add my skill points properly.
My INT modifier is 0, so don't I only get 4 for getting to level 3?

Ah yes. I was looking at your wisdom modifier.
Ignore what I just said about your skills. They're fine.

Argh...why am I so damn confused?
Can I be one of those elf people? (I forget what the technical name was for them).
I'm still included in this right?

This is everyone that has told me what character they want to play and your character sheet status thus far.
Josh #1 - Paladin, CS complete
Josh #2 - Ranger, CS complete
Doug - Fighter
Sarah - Barbarian, CS complete
If you don't have a copy of your character sheet, print it off from here
http://su7an.emtee.org/dnd/dndcharactersheet.pdf
Then contact me and I'll tell what you need to write in.
Doug, I need to make a copy of your character sheet so I can use it from DM-like purposes.
If anyone still wants to be in the campaign, we need a rogue and a wizard/sorcerer.
The rogue is pretty important (and you get to be sneaky and FUN), and having it as a non-player character would make it too easy.
I can make the caster and NPC since I have a good idea for one.

Ok, you can be a second Ranger. We'll need you to help provide healing with our Paladin. Now our fighters are nicely balanced.
Oh, and I don't remember you name.

We badly need a rogue then.

Yes we do. I'll give it a day, and if nobody takes it, one of the Rangers can switch out and I can adjust skills accordingly. The NPC rogue will be a last resort.
The caster is now an NPC, so tough beans if anyone wanted to play it.

Oh...sorry. My name's Richele.
So...this may have been answered already, but when is this thing starting?

Hopefully tuesday. I just have to get the characters straightened out, and finish setting up the dungeon.

Of course, our lovely and ultimately benevolent DM won't throw
that many traps at us, right?
