tis what i said! :D

Michael Moore is popular because of his entertainment value. If he had the same message but didn't use extravagant tactics, no one would know who he is.

really?!?! he wouldn't? never thought of the blatently obvious that way before!

(sorry for being a sarcastic asshole, but it comes out once in a while...please, don't take it personally)

"I call on every nation to do everything they can to stop these terrorist killers. ... Now watch this drive." - President George W. Bush, swinging a golf club, "protecting" the nation.

Only one senator voted against the patriot act.

Go Feingold! Go Wisconsin! :D

I wouldn't put the blame on the senators. It was after 9/11 and we were all in "super patriot" mode. Many of the senators that voted for it are now against it and passing revisions through congress.

And after reading the expose on BFC, i can only wonder if that's the whole quote or if our pal Mike did some more selective editing.

That was an actual quote from August 2001. George Bush was asked about a recent report stating that Bin Laden was going to attack the country. That golf clip was his response. No editing involved.

EDIT: Wrong date.

it's actualy kinda sad how excited i am.

Does anyone else think this is really bad news for Bush? I'm not going to argue that it's going to persuade the American public away from Bush....but it's not really any worse then the persuading and trickery Bush has used. Not to mention if the Republican's can steal an election from the rightful winner then why can't Mike steal the wind from Bush's sails?
