My dad came with me to the Concert for Toronto, and he said he thought OLP was great live.
(Though, he still thinks BNL stole the show :P)

Well, I'm back.

And I didn't get to listen to my music. I ended up driving halfway there, then stopped driving and listened to my cd player. On the way home I refused to drive at all, for obvious reasons.

What did your folks say dude?

I had this short argument with my dad about it, saying mostly what I've said here (I didn't use the ultimatum). It ending with him saying "Am I missing something here?", me wanting to fucking rip his head off for saying that, and my mother breaking it up.

I dont mind oldies sometimes, but when my dad is drumming along with it on the dashboard and/or singing and trying to look all hip... man it sucks.

Only when he's driving, I'm in the back seat and there's a good song on...

I must come from a really tolerant family. :) My parents always listen to whatever music my little sis and I choose in the car. Sometimes my dad turns it down a bit b/c it hurts his ears, but they don't go any farther than that.
