True, but Hitler almost took over the world, which is a lot more than Chris Carraba's done, and I don't see anyone praising him. Just kidding. Calm down. I love Dashboard Confessional. you probably didn't read my first post where I said that.
One more thing. Are you saying Vagrant is the biggest punk label around? *gags* I can't think of a single band that I would consider punk on vagrant...but to each his own.

I guess Alkaline Trio would be the closest to punk. And if you don't like them, I probably won't like you  . You're right, they're not really a punk label, but for lack of a better word, I used punk. I guess you could say they're the best emo label out there, for sure. I mean, they have like 4 of the biggest emo bands around, Alkaline Trio, Saves The Day, The Get Up Kids, and Dashboard Confessional, so they are pretty damn huge. It would be a dream of mine to be signed to their label, just so I could go on the Vagrant America tour with ALK3, STD, and The Get Up Kids.

Yep. I actually like Vagrant a lot, because I love the Get Up Kids. Love. Love. Love. I love the Get Up Kids. I also like Saves quite a bit. I haven't heard much from Alk3, but I should check em out, because I guess it's similair to other stuff I like. :)

How can you be on this board and not read an Alkaline Trio rant from me?

Who knows? Is it Alkaline (short 'i') or Alkaliiiiiiine (long 'i')? Haha. That's risking sounding like an idiot. I know I learned that in Chemistry, however, I barely got by with C's in that class.

Well, just search on Kazaa and download anything you find. Their music is exceptionally good for an emo band, and you won't be disappointed. Trust me. They have some wierd songs, but for the most part, their music is pretty damn good.

Yeah, although they say right there it's not a new sound or anything by them, it's just that one individual song, so at least that's good.

The concert kicked ass!!!! ahh!! It was SO awesome!

Chris is such an adorable guy. Sure, he's absolutely gorgeous, but he's got such a cute little personality. That was my first non-OLP concert, and it was way different.

The one at Kool Haus? A bunch of friends went. They said it was the best concert they've ever seen.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

I wish I was from Toronto..but no, I'm from that one city that everyone's deathly afraid of, Detroit. I don't blame them.

As soon as I can, I'm moving outta here, going to either the west coast of Canada or the US, or maybe Toronto.

no way... niagara region is way better... you get the best concerts cause you're within 2 hours of Toronto, hamilton, Buffalo, Rochester and Niagara Falls (which gets a couple good ones) plus the cities here are big enough to have all the normal city needs but they're small enough where you don't feel overwhelmed or anything...

anyways back to DC... they played the video for Saints and Sailors today on MuchMusic, it was on The Best of MOD and it was the first time I had ever seen a DC video... mind you I only caught the last 20 seconds of it...
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Hey, I saw that too. I've seen 'screaming infidelities' and 'saints and sailors' I really like both songs.

Can anyone reccomend a song or two for me to download?
I'm mainly looking for a catchy song, not a meaningful deep one.
But if there is a song that has both, I will take it!

Catchy songs (kinda):
Swiss Army Romance
Anyone, Anyone
The Best Deceptions
the Good Fight

Anyways...I am supposed to be going to see Dash on friday night. That just depends on if I can get tickets, because the only time I'm gonna have a chance to buy them is that same day, so if they're not sold out I'm going. It's okay if they're sold out though, cause I've already seen Dash more times than I care to count.
