well one band i have really been loving lately is called BOYS NIGHT OUT

actually check out the entire album called trainwreck

Don't listen to Nikki, every album Radiohead has made except for Pablo Honey has been excellent. Whether or not you like The Bends, you should try listening to any of their newer albums. It's a lot different than their older stuff, but lots of people still love it.
It's hard to choose which album one should listen to if they want to check them out, haha. Easy for Nikki because she doesn't like anything after their second album.

Here's a couple songs from each album, I think most of these were singles. If you like them, you should check out the whole album though.
Pablo Honey: You, Creep
The Bends: The Bends, Fake Plastic Trees
OK Computer: Airbag, Let Down
Kid A: Everything in its Right Place, How to Disappear Completely
Amnesiac: Pyramid Song, Knives Our
Hail to the Thief: 2+2=5, There There
I think OK Computer and Kid A are usually considered their most "important" albums.

yeah. i recommended OK Computer because i know he likes Douggy Adams, George Orwell, and ray kurzweil... it all fits in
but the others should work too
