see you can find what pot cures, in fact research is abundant on pot, but not much else.

truth is many plants and herbs cure many things. but when you've lost your appetite, doctors don't tell you to make a tea out of ground ivy or fennel.

so if your not going to prescribe other herbal remidies and herbs to lessen pain, why would your preference as a doctor be pot? why not perscribe sheperd's purse for internal bleeding, in many herbal remedy books, it says this can help in this situation?

that's fine and all, but why is it there's tons of research on this one plant, and very little on other remidies?

why do doctors only prescribe pot for everything when they can perscribe other remedies? why not perscribe the pill version?

truth be told, i wouldn't mind medical pot. the problem is people looking to recreationally use it will exploit the sick and/or claim themselves to be sick. and you can't honestly tell me that's not the case, go to a pro medicinal rally, i guarantee you will see recreational users there in support, and it just ruins any credability the sick can claim. if there are others herbal ways to treat loss of appetite, pain, depression, ect, some of these people need to look into it and not just rely on pills and illegal substances.

theres folks who will abuse any substance that has any sort of "mind-altering" or "mood-altering" altering effects

it happens with legal products such as gasoline, glue, lysol, alcohol, etc
why make those who are truly suffering continue to suffer based on the classless and idiotic actions of those looking for personal gain based on the legitimate suffering of others?
go fuck yourself.

Reno, how was your grandfather dead if his heart was still beating?

And what did they want the heart for? If you've had cancer ever (let alone died from it) I'm pretty sure they won't take your organs (except maybe your eyes) to donate to other people - I'm not even allowed to give blood any more.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

But if you're brain dead it normally takes people time to prove it doesn't it? Like how they have to get two independent doctors to run lots of tests and confirm it before they'll let you turn off someone's life support machine? Presumably because it's not obvious the differences between being brain dead but being in a very deep coma. The timescales in Reno's post (the heart was beating for 15 minutes after he died) makes me think that this isn't what happened.

Pot is a lot more commonly known and easier to come by. It's relatively easy to grow as well. It also has no known side effects.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

Well one way to find out if a mortally injured patient is brain dead is to take him/her off their vent. When that happens, the brain should send impulses down to the diaphragm/lungs to get them working again. After 10-15 seconds, if the patient isn't breathing on their own, then they're considered brain dead.

and this is for reno.. i was thinkin about it lastnight while the computers were in the process of being worked on and i was in the process of attempting to "sleep"
anyways

another reason that pot is so widely prescribed over other natural roots and such is the research, for the most part, is in existance today thanks to its use as an illegal narcotic, in order for the root of the crazyass tree to be used to cure disease x, the root has to be studied extensively to ensure it wont do more damage in the long run, etc.. currently funding for that kinda research doesnt exist (which is wrong of course but understandable)...
i had an even longer post in my head but due to the lack of sleep i appear to have forgotten a lot of it (basically it had to do with the complexities of the chemical make up of humans and such)
go fuck yourself.

Renow mentioned earlier a pill form of marijuana, and that makes ALOT more sense to me. We know that it works as a pain-killer so do some freaking research and instead of giving people the entire plant, seperate the exact part of the plant that kills pain, and make it available differently, non-killing of lungs-wise.

That being said, i don't know anything about the chemical make-up of pot, so I'm not sure if the mood-altering part of it CAN be seperated from the pain-killing part.
