Musical taste is about likes and dislikes, not knowledge. Therefore, a person isn't more likely to listen to you because of your knowledge. One finds what they like themselves, without your "help". Plus, your holier-than-thou attidude is why you're get negative responses.

You wouldn't hire a lawyer to fix a car, because they don't have that skill. Are you suggesting that you are the only one here with the "skill" to choose what music everyone should like and dislike? Muscial taste isn't a skill. It's about personal preferance.

Because he likes to make people like you angry. You all feed into his game. If you just took what he said and let it go, he wouldn't say things to anger people. And what he is doing is working. He's taking people that haven't posted in this thread and is pissing them off to the point of saying something. He's a damn genius if you ask me. He knows how to push all of your buttons, yet back off at the right time. It takes talent to know how to push people as far as they will go without consequences, and I wish I had that power.

On the messageboard, I thought he was a complete fucking asshole for a long time, then I met the guy, and he was really fucking cool. And, Dan is it? Maybe we could keep the insults to a minimum? Insulting a person's appearance is just low. I've been insulted like that by a bunch of assholes at school constantly, and it's just not fun.

I know I come to places like this to get away from shit like that, and I'm sure other people do too, and I know I wouldn't want that kind of crap here.
