I just finished it!

The ending is great! Zedd is the greatest character ever.

I'm still reading PoC. I'm not getting Naked Empire until the paperback comes out. Hardcover is a ripoff.

Yes, it is a ripoff.

But I didn't want to wait.


PoC is awesome. It is a little hard to get into, what with the lack of the regular characters. But it's still great, and it leads really well into NE.

Here's a conversation between Brian and I at school, before philosophy class...

B: See, I think we have different fates. Like, there's different paths we can take in life, and from each path is another choice of paths.
R: Kind of like a forked prophecy?
B: Yeah. And any person who could actually read these prophecies would be able to see the different options, and which is better or worse. No one else really has control over the choices, but the people who are really good at reading prophecy would actually be able to help guide events into the prophecy of their choice...
R: Woah. Okay. There's this series of books that I've read calle-
B: Sword of Truth?
R: Yeah!
B: Yeah. I've read them. They're pretty good.
R: Damn right they are.
B: Yeah. That's partly what influenced some of my theory.

So yeah. I know someone in "real life" who's read them! Woo!

Whoa! The next step from this is "real life friends"! :O!!!

He's kind of an at-school friend, who I hang around with before class, sit beside in class, and sometimes talk to at lunch.

My "real life friends" don't read much.
