Not really no .. it's more uncomfortable to have to sit there and keep the same position for so long

Sorry. A lot of people joke about that to me. You can definitely feel it when something is tattooed on your body. Whether it's uncomfortable or not depends how big the tattoo is, where it is going, and how much pain tolerance you have.

I have one that took about 30 minutes and another one that took less than ten. The shorter one was not a big deal at all. The longer one hurt when they started putting the colour in, but I still smiled through the whole thing.
You tend to forget about any pain after a few days, anyway.

After a while adrenaline or whatever kicks in and it dosn't hurt so bad. It's more uncomfortable than painful but not unbearable.

I'd definately consider getting a tattoo at some point, but I don't know what.
I want to wait for a long while first though. A few of my friends just got into the whole tattoo thing (and most of them look like complete shit), and I don't exactly want to "jump on the bandwagon".

find a design or draw something up .. then stick it on your fridge for a year .. once that year is up, if you're still not sick of seeing that same picture everyday, you'll more than likely be able to stand having it tattooed on you forever and ever and ever

Or get it in a place you can't see well, like your back
