have we forgotten that olp put out albums in 99, 00, and '02. That's pretty darn quick. Let them have a bit of free time people!

I am glad to see I am not the only one who noticed that OLP have released lots of material over the last few years. alot of acts don't release that much stuff. I can also see why people make jokes or comments cause they will say It will come out so and so and doesn't. I personally believe(since they are finish recording) that the cd will come out this year. I think they are waiting cause they will probably go on tour to back it up.( as they have done in the past). I wouldn't worry about it. I mean it is not like we haven't heard anything new since Gravity came out.

Instead of running their mouths off about when something will come out, they should just tell us about the album release date a month or two before it's scheduled to come out, so we don't hear Jeremy telling us late 2003, then making us wait until early 2005. There's a wild idea.

They also aren't the only band who do this. Almost all of the cds I've been excited about recently have been pushed back a couple of time.

The ones I like haven't. Because they're not liars.

Honestly though, it's not hard to just keep to themselves about the music. I mean, sure, say you're going to record, that's fine. Don't come out and tell us every other month that you're pushing it back another season. It's fucking obnoxious.

It's easier just to say that you're working on new material than it is to say the album will be out in late 2003, then release ita year and a half latert. Not that hard to figure out.

i think that the members are just busy with personal aspects of their lives and since they only stopped touring this summer i think that we should give them some time to rest and hope for the best. If you had a kid would you want to go spend 3 months on tour because I know I would not.

People take this stuff too seriously (Rob) remember that dude...

Seriously though, I say just look forward to the new tunage.....whether it comes out in 2 months, 6 months, or February of next year.

U2's next album is gonna kick ass, too.

The new U2 record won't be out till September if lucky.

I made a joke with a few friends saying I wonder whose cd will come out first? OLP or U2. Both were suppose to come out in March. -well I know with OLP they were trying for March-with U2, it was never confirmed. Only rumours.

The later the better for me. I am trying to go away in Nov. I can use the money I would spend on seeing U2 or OLP toward that.

I don't even think luck could get it out in September.

Speaking of Matt, he keeps changing his story too. Not when it's being released, but what it IS and what he's doing after he releases it.

:Johnathan: You guys are taking this release date thing way too seriously. :P So they keep changing the date... it's just taking longer than they expected... you all act like you've never worked on something and had the same thing happen. I don't know how many times I've told people something would be ready on a certain date and not had it ready for... well, a long time after that. Patience, people! ;)

Personally, I like that they try to keep us informed of these things... even if they aren't accurate.

Ummm no.

See, it's rude to tell your fans to expect it one month, then push it back another three. Doing it once is acceptable and forgivable. Doing it 3 or more times per release is fucking ridiculous.

Sorry if you think we're taking it too seriously, but if you say you're going to release an album one month, then at least try and release it in the same season, or better yet, year. That's not asking much.

It's not like the guys in the band didn't know that Duncan has kids and that Raine was about to be a father. They knew this. Therefore, they shouldn't have said they would be releasing it at the end of 2003, then have us wait until the end of 2004 like that. If you don't think that's obnoxious, then your head is too far up your ass.
