yeah i recognized "on a bed of nails I wait" from U2..quote]

Are you serious? That's the only line I like from that song. If it comes on the radio, I wait until that line, then turn it off.

Thanks. I couldn't remember Is the Menu version different then if you watch the whole show. I have yet to see the whole show in one sitting. It turns into a mini-series for me. I can never just sit down and watch it from start to end without an interuption or falling asleep.( not cuase it is boring-only cause I am tired)

I forgot who asked-but here is a quote I had in my sig(on CC) awhile back.

"I was really into Van Halen and it was BONO who showed me the difference between making music that affects feelings and just getting onstage for the sake of entertainment" Raine Maida

Raine can imitate or even look/act like Bono without trying, and no matter what Bono is far beyond his reach.

What is funny is that when the song came out and people were discussing the lyrics I thought they were talking about the U2 song. I got reamed cause they were talking about the OLP song.

I was Bed Of Nails for awhile. It is also in the Bon Jovi Bed of Roses song.
U2-With or Without You- On Bed Of Nails she makes me wait.
Bon Jovi-Bed Of Roses-For tonight I sleep on a Bed Of Nails.
OLP-SOT-On A Bed Of Nails I'll wait.

You see it is a popular lyric.
While I see alot of similarilies between Raine and Bono(there are more then just lyrics). I don't think of Raine as inmitating Bono. I see the influence, but I think Raine is awesome songwriter on his own. I love his lyrics.
