my concern is that all these bands like good charlotte, simple plan and sum 41 are becoming really mainstream so im worried that the good bands won't get signed anymore.

as long as you look around... you'll find good music. go to some shows. i guess that works for me... i like ska punk (real punk) and some hardcore emo (i feel like such a faggot saying that) if you look around, you'll find music you like....
^good charleote simple plan and sum41 are not real punk they're just riding the curl until its not poplular to be a mall punk anymore, then they'll go away. dont worry.

Sum 41 is actually gettting away from the pop/punk though... I mean their last album was not nearly as poppy as the previous one. They adopted a harder sound which is kind of seperating themselves from groups like GC and SP.

i'd almost consider Sum 41 to be rock now and not punk. they seem like a just flat our rock band in alot of instances

i try to ignore dumb music and just focus on the good.
there is a lot more good than bad i think, you just have to look beyond what the radio force feeds you.

Oh and the new "Punk" revolution is non-existant as a real Punk, or Rock Revolution, its just a Pop fad with spiky hair and a skate board.
You and me both buddy. You and me both. Im listening to the new lost prophets and its lack luster

MG is a good example of good music now-a-days. If you're having trouble finding good music, then take a look at his stuff.
