Getting A Good Nights Sleep

I have no problem actually falling asleep. Once I lie down and close my eyes I fall asleep in like 5 minutes. My problem is actually getting my ass in bed. I never feel like sleeping and start doing other things and I usually never get more than 4-6 hours of sleep.

I was tired but i need extreme silence to fall asleep and last night everybody in my house was walking around and talking and i could hear people outside

Last night at 4 AM I was convinced that my heart was beating faster than normal and that I was going to die in my sleep or something, so I spent a half an hour trying to put my hand to my chest and feel my heart beating

When I woke up I realized how stupid I was

keep a full bottle of beer near your bed. if you need to sleep, grab it and smash it over your head. the impact will knock you unconcious.

alternately you can put your head in the oven for a few minutes. make sure you time it to shut off by itself, though.

same here. its four oclock in the morning and i have no desire to sleep.

this week, in 55 hours, i had 9 hours of sleep because i screwed up my sleeping habits and then had to get up at 6.

Tylenol PM = guaranteed 8 hours of sleep. I never took them, but a lot of people I know at school swear by them. I also can't sleep, but its because of other medicine that I just started taking. Kind of sucks...

hahaha tylenol PM never works for me

and I just took some benadryl cause I had a lovely allergic reaction at church from washing my dog a few hours before, and it won't make me sleepy

Medicine never works for me but i should try something.The past two nights i haven't been able to sleep. I keep waking up every 15 minutes.Its not good.

I used to have trouble sleeping too so this is what I did:
About an hour before you want to sleep, turn some music up really loud, cover up your windows, and just dance around like a total ass for awhile.
I know it sounds stupid but it works. :nod:

It usually takes me about 2 to 3 hours to fall asleep. You know those people who hit the pillow and pass out? I want to beat them. With something heavy and blunt.

I've slept over at Gav's a number of times, and not only does the guy fall asleep in under 5 minutes, he begins a running commentary of his dreams, complete with sound effects, after less than half an hour. :mad:

I got 2 hours of sleep the other night -- literally. I don't drink cokes but I drank a MT Dew before bedtime and I really couldnt sleep. I was too wired.
