I like Lucky Denver Mint. That's a good song.

I've seen them 3 times: radio festival in the summer of '01, Kool Haus (Toronto) this past April and Convention Centre (Hamilton) this past July. The first time I got hooked, the Toronto show kinda disappointed me, and the Hamilton one was spectacular.

They're a great band with great songs... but an all time great live act? I'm not convinced. I've never seen a lot of personality or spontaneity on stage. The Hamilton show was great just because of the sound and production values.

But last night I saw Dave Matthews Band in Rochester. And frankly, nothing else matters.

I think they might want to make a new album before they come back to Detroit.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Yeah, I am pissed because Alkaline Trio is touring for their new album, and the closest they come to Detroit is Minnesota. I got me a fun drive. Yee haw.

Heh, if you wanna go, ok. I will rent a van and talk all my ALK3 buddies along with me.
