i'd be wary of labeling SOAD as "nu-metal". i don't care for the music but those guys are talented muscians and they're doing their own thing.
but disturbed fucking sucks. complete and utter garbage from beginning to end.

bleah...i don't really like either. i don't like their sound and i especially don't like SOAD. That guy's voice bugs the hell out of me...and I don't think they're music is that great. Just my opinion though, I know others feel different about them and Disturbed.. :|

I'm not sure how to label SOAD as a band. They have a unique sound, but i really don't like their sound.... but i'll give them credit they are different.
I absolutley HATED all of Disturbed's stuff. But i really really like their new single "Prayer". I'd venture to say it's the best song i've heard all year. I can't believe i could hate and like a band so much.
