I might need a hotel room for 2 but it really depends on how cheap it is. Can you give me any idea what the cost for Friday and Saturday is?
And if I don't make it known that
I've loved you all along

I havent nailed anything down yet but hotels in toronto are expensive and it is a holiday weekend. Downtown the cheapest we are gonna get is about 135 plus all those ridiculous taxes. there are some people who maybe interested in sharing a room to cut down costs. if you can get 4 people that would be about 40 bucks a night. But like i said nothing is finalized.

I may still be able to get it slightly less but i am not promsing.

What if we get further out of town?
Say Oakville? I think those rooms were around $80 at the Holiday Inn.

Additionally I call a bed :D

well, remember those fantastic front row seats i got off of ebay?
i recieved them today, and they aren't even in the same sections...BAH!
do they check your ticket stub every time you go into a section, or do they scan it?

if we can't both get together in one section we're just going to have to stand in the aisle or something...because we don't want to be separated (half the fun of a concert is who you go with)
this sucks. we already have our plane tickets, our hotel booked and everything.

well my friend went ahead and booked a room at the ramada, but that's not in stone... once you guys figure out everything we can always cancel the ramada. we just booked there for now, because where we are coming all the way from NB, we didn't want everything to sell out for the weekend and be stuck with no place to stay. lol.
gotta make sure everythings covered!
i hope they don't check tickets! if they do we'll just stand in an alley..haha.

i've actually been talking back and forth with Piers from Jets Overhead and he told me they are playing on the small stage, but they'll hang around afterwards so we can all go say hi :) (I LOVE jets overhead...they're right up there with OLP....well, almost lol)

Here is the scoop. I did much research and have found what I believe is the best deals out there. I was going to book 8 rooms but I didnt want to carry the $1400 for all of you. i love you but...well you understand.

Here are the choices ( prices booked through hotels.ca -- the hotel.com prices I believe are slightly higher, if this is the case try using the expedia site for a better price in the US)

The Metropolitain **** ( 4 stars) 141.55 with all taxes $170.86 /night

http://www.metropolitan.com/toronto/

Novatel *** (3.5 stars) 159.00 with all taxes $186.83 / night

Days Hotel ** (2.5 Stars) 129.00 with all taxes 150.61/night

xxhttp://www.dayshoteltoronto.ca/

I am going to book at the Metro for Friday and Saturday night as is Nikki. I would reccomend that we put in a note in our comment section that we would like a room near other CM members.

I really wish i could just book all the rooms .

Also if anyone finds a better deal PLEASE let us know.

oh and Tori the Ramada is 169 plus taxes so the Metro is cheaper and a star above...join us

i found a better deal!!

The Days Hotel, located right downtown on Carlton street...
I think it's something like 139-149 a night, PLUS you can buy discounted Canada's Wonderland tickets there :) What better way to spend a Sunday after Edgefest, then at Canada's Wonderland?
(ps- for those of you traveling quite far to edgefest (cough cough me from new brunswick) and don't have alot of money....THEY GIVE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST!!! woo hoo...i'll be stocking up on those muffins and bagels for lunch!)

.......and supper :(

Eh I don't plan on doing much driving - to and from the venue, and then parking and wandering downtown if possible. So...a half hour to and from isn't really going to kill my car, as I can usually get over 200 miles on a tank of gas.
