It would be easy to "just be happy you are seeing the band" is people hadn't been promised perks for members of the site, only to be left with nothing more than first shot at crappy seats.

U2 membership cost $40. a year. You are promised First crack at tickets.( best seats) The first leg of tour people didn'teven get any tickets in pre-sale.. Tickets then ended up on scalpers and ebay for almost 100 times price of ticket. Same with Stones, McCartney adn other major tour..

Are you actually trying to compare OLP to the Rolling Stones? Or U2?
Our Lady Peace would be lucky to have a tenth of that kind of fanbase.

I think she's just explaining how paid fanclub memberships work for those bands, actually for most bands.

But most bands don't go around claiming they don't think of fans as fans but as "friends". I'm sorry, but I wouldn't do this to any friend of mine.

OLP is usually VERY good to us (and me personally), so I hate to complain. But I will not sit by and get screwed and more importantly watch all my friends get screwed. It's not fair and not right.

"Dear OLP,

Congratulations! You have completely screwed your fans over! Please stay tuned for an array of abusive letters from various said fans."

Despite everything, I'm still really excited for the shows! Two of my favourite bands together! :D

I just looked at my tix again and I think I posted it wrong somewhere earlier... my rows are exactly the same as yours :GASP: See you there!

you're lucky laurel's camera never ever has batteries, as she's too cheap to buy any. and really, the mystery of lando must be kept alive around these parts.

I'm already afraid of Laurel and her stalker ways. It would be too traumatic to me if she also had pictures!
