That's very good!!
it's most likely called "reserve police" or "auxiliary police"
It's a very good stepping stone, regardless, to get into policing!!!
That's what I had foreplanned all along! I did the auxilary so that I would have volunteer experience going into the policing field.
I chose the Toronto Police auxiliary back in 2002 because I grew up in Toronto and I wanted to see what policing was like in Toronto. From what I've seen it was a HUGE eye opener, especially the car duty!! It was sweet!!
I was very proud to be wearing the uniform of the Toronto Police Auxiliary. I felt like I was making a difference to my community by volunteering. And that's what I want to be doing is making a difference to the Toronto community.
I ended up liking the Toronto Police Service and it's a service that I want to join!
Nikki, hopefully Monkey will enjoy it!! I wish him the best of luck because one day he's gonna be a police officer and we're both gonna be family!!!
Because once a police officer officer always a police officer!
:officer:
kudos!

Smooke if you grew up in TO and you wanna go be a policeman there, how comes you're in NS?

Soozy, see.
There's an explanation for that. And I'll tell you that explanation because I know it.
Well, at the age of 15 I moved from Toronto, Ontario to Halifax, NS because my mom wanted to get transferred from the CIBC call centre in Toronto to the new one in Halifax. So this was 9 years ago. Seeing that I was only 15, me and my sister, who was 12 at the time, had no other choice but to traverse to Halifax since we were dependents at the time.

Nikki, can I stay with you for a while until I can find a place to live in America. I think after Johnny gets his gun, I'll be safest in America.
