a person who was an anti-gun lobbyist in toronto got shot today, in the same house he organized a rally a month or so ago. now is that not ironic?

Actually it would have been ironic if he was a gun enthusiast and supported them. This is just proving his point on anti-gun laws.

yeah but you would thing an anti-gun lobbyist wouldn't get shot....

Actually, that doesnt matter either. You can be shot anywhere, whether its in a small town like mine, or a rural farm or a city.

Though I'm sure you're a lot more likely to be shot in say... the middle of Camden at 3am than in Johnny's little Canadian town at noon.

I've walked through downtown vancouver, on the east side at like 3 am. I just wave and smile at junkies and prostitutes. They only mean harm to themselves, and usually they're very nice.

Vancouver is pretty clean though, I would say. Far cleaner than Toronto(as far as I can tell anyways, i've only been there twice).

Mississauga aint so bad. It seems nice. Although people do complain when you run across the road, but it was the fastest way to the mall.

i live in downtown toronto... it's safe as can be. like any big city, you have to be conscious of what goes on around you. the homeless people are not a problem, the city is clean as hell... people are friendly, i have no complaints about toronto.

That's true, but it wouldn't have been much of a story if I hadn't said that.
