I happen to agree that Not Afraid sounds somewhat Gravityish, but i think that production had a lot to do with why Gravity sounded poppy. Now that they have claimed they are going to try and make it sound raw and not touched up, I don't think that Not Afraid will sound too much like Gravity.

The thing is we've only heard live versions of Not Afraid and it still sounds a little like gravity. Live is about as raw as you can get.

off topic - however olp.cc clims to have No Warning lyrics, yet their link still has no lyrics for it.

I think Not Afraid does have some Gravityesque style...........but its quite a bit better than Gravity's material..........and again, I hope they stray away from Gravity's sound.........the instruments sounded cheesy..........

And what is wrong with the No Warning bootleg??? THe vocals aren't good at all but I had no problem with the actual instruments. It made me like the song.

and the link for No Warning on OLP.CC works just fine................just scroll to the bottom..........it worked when i tried it early this afternoon and its works now.

Any problem specifically that made it hard to find??

That was my interp of the lyrics. Some are wrong, though I think most are just unintelligable Raine-isms.

yeah, late may early june, about the same time as olp, so forget olp and buy the mg record

actually depending who you like, there are alot of bands coming out with new CD(or just released new CD's) this year.

As for OLP, It would be cool if they did release it in June. It would have to be 15th. I say that because CD's are released on Tuesday. That date will be almost 2 years to the date GRAVITY was relased(6/18/01)

Also (this was 6 months ago) When I saw OLP in San Fran last year. Raine told my friend and I that this new cd would not be GRAVITY part 2. It would be a bit harder sounding and different then GRAVITY. He said it was in the vain of Old U2. Now my question is OLD u2 as in Joshua Tree/Acthung Baby or Boy/October/War. :drool:

either way I look forward to the new OLP, Matt Good, Tea Party(hopefully be released this year) and of course U2

hmmm... i think you mean 6/18/02. that would make it two years :roll:
