I know my half-brained ideas wouldn't work.
It's just that I think the majority of voters are making their decision based on either "For Conservatives" or "Against Conservatives". And, unfortunately, though there are more voting against than for, those votes are divided.

actualy rob it was for the exact same reason that the Alliance and the PC got together, they were splitting votes. I think it would be an atrocity if the liberals and the NDP became one, the NDP are allr eady far enough right to be called the old liberals. If anything the green party should just quit stealing votes away from their fellow Left wing party and join with them, all they do is ruin things for the other party with similar intrests. Really do we need a green party? Can't they just compromise with the NDP to give a solid left wing defence for a change.
Liberals arn't Leftwing they're not even really center anymore with PM.

You can see where your beliefs fall on the political spectrum.
I fell dead centre on the left/right portion, but 2/3rds towards libertarian.

i'm smack dab in the middle of the left wing. and about half way to being libertarian. lol in other words i'm right in the middle of the bottom left square, in almost the exact same square as Gahndi, the Dali Lhama, and Nelson Mandela. Which proves that i may be left wing but i'm nothing like Stalin or his ilk.
....GWB is my exact opposite

that would explain a lot.
besides anyone that's in the same square as hitler needs to be worried

Economic Left/Right: -0.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.77
Some of those questions seemed a bit weighted. For example:
Do you think your race is the best and all other races should be slaughtered?
Do you believe we should be caring and help out our fellow man?
Though I think it was somewhat accurate for me (extremely centered), it still seems the questions were leaning. Maybe not, maybe some people actually believe in the first question *shutters*

i don't remember that question, i remeber one about certain races being superior
