Who's actually supporting this war.

again, why? why do you believe Saddam is a sinister human being?

Well for one thing, he used Chemical weapons against the Kurds in the 80's, he orders...er...forces civilian men(under the threat of torture or their families execution) to join the army and fight. Also he orders his troops to fire on his own citizens while they are trying to escape from Basra(I belive the civilians were fired upon by machines guns and mortars by Iraqi troops)
Also, he is using woman and children as shields to protect his armaments.

That why i belive that Saddam is a evil and vile piece of pig shoit.

it really isn't right. Anyone who dies for anyones country doesn't deserve disrespect, even if he died without getting a shot off.

People in the states have defaced war memorials but that doesn't make you "hate those dirty american bastards" or whatever you said about the french.

yeah but no one really takes those extreme protesters seriously? then they get put in jail for vandalism and people accuse the government of shutting up protesters and locking them up wrongfully.

Jon, you said a number of things about saddam.

"He used chemical weapons on the kurds."

the CIA says it was Iran and not iraq.

"He forces civillians to fight"

He uses the draft. it's been done before by the usa when deemed neccessary. why is it only wrong when saddam does it?

"He kills iraqi civillians"

So does the usa.

So Saddam is bad, but on two counts out of three, the US is just as bad. and as for the chemical weapons of the 80's, well. the us dropped the bomb.

again saying, if we invade iraq to get rid of their dictator then if we're fighting a rational war we better invade the states to get rid of theirs.

Kurds are plenty pissed at Sadamn, where's the anamosity towards Iran? there is none. that's common sense telling me that they are pissed at sadamn for a reason.....chem warfare. so pissed they have a ghetto called saddam city, cause he forced them out of their real homes. Israel does the same thing, so what's the difference between these two? if you don't like what israel is doing then you should hate what was done to the kurds. am i right?

holding hostage a family for the sake of one man and maybe his son to fight is not a draft. your sadly mistaken if you believe that. and yes the draft was implemented...the last time was 30 years ago and we don't use it now. during WWII our armed forces were not considered overwhelming or a super power. as for your Iraqi body count, again ficticious. If there is any truth to it, it's probably counting soilders and militants. militans that will recruit 12 year olds to fight, and i won't shed one tear for these militants, because sadamn didn't shed one tear about killing 12 year olds in the Iraq/Iran war. that's right folks, Iran was down to 12 year olds in their draft. and iraq shot and killed many of them.

but you like to point at the bomb(s). yes, the nukes, that stopped WWII prematurely i guess in your opinion. let's keep fighting and killing and you know what, let's invade Japan like we did on D-Day, the same fucking day that 14,000 innocent civilians died. add that number in with the loss of soilders and see what you get. it's great how we can look back and say, man that sucked, we shouldn't have dropped them. but you know what, at the time they probably never knew the real affects of what this thing can really do. all they knew was this thing works, we have it, i'm fucking tired of this war, we didn't want anything to do with this godamn thing, fuck it, it ends today. but no...someone had to have a fucking bowling ball for a head, so ok, let's try this again....it ends TODAY! and finally it ended.

but lets not forget the torture chambers found with that woman we just recovered. meat hooks in a hospital? please explain this to me? Yeah go ahead and point out gito, and make your claim that people there are being tortured. the fact is they are not, there has been no evidence pointed out to me that says so. (and we are all familiar with those pictures of dudes in orange jump suits) they are held in this way (or the way you see it tortured) because they are hostile peoples that have either ties to a terrorist group or fund them in some way/shape/form. they might hold information and are useful to the government, anyone who isn't wouldn't be in there now would they?
