Kaegan wrote:Oh they all changed for the evening performance! Jeremy untied his hair and took off his glasses and his hat. Raine had a white shirt on, and some suit jacket over top of it. Steve wore the creepy vest that you guys don't seem to like. Suit all the way woot woot! Jeremy and Steve (and possibly others) had beer. I think Steve had a rum and coke too. Bad boys!

Knowing Jer it was most likely non-alcoholic :)
It's sort of odd of them drinking at all during a performance considering they are fairly outspoken against that type of thing, but I suppose there's nothing much wrong with just one casual beer and such.
One of the things which I have always admired them for is that they stay away from all of that drinking/drugs shit- The occasional beer for them is even few and far between and they don't get drunk. I've always admired them for that, and that's why they aren't going to get fucked up, that shit sucks you in and you don't even realize it- I know from personal experience too. Not a fun way to live.

I noticed Jer's hair was tied back- *wondering if he wears the jerry-curl caps* (for those who don't know, don't ask )

Umm...have you ever seen them play live, or met them after a show??? There's some drinking going on onstage. Not falling down drunk drinking, but onstage they might throw back 3 or 4 beers. Jeremy got out of that "no alcohol" thing a while back.

Hah, I remember reading somewhere that he said he was allergic to alcohol, and that he never ever drank. Must’ve definitly gotten over that one.

I guess he tried it and realized he really wasnt allergic, then never turned back. :)

I was going to say...I don't recall ever hearing anything about OLP abstaining from aloto f things. In fact, I'm still not sure Raine wasn't high at the last concert I saw

Yeppers they have talked about it publicly before --and you call yourself a fan-- :P
Like I said they may have the occasional beer or two but that's it.
If Jer or the others does drink beer on occasion it's not much. They have had a fairly strong opinion about not getting sucked into that whole lifestyle -and yes I have met and talked with all of them more than a few times.

hehe, I love it when n00bs try to one-up the long time members with their OLP knowledge.

The band drinks. Sometimes a lot. Not falling-down-drunk on stage, mind you. But Jer ... well he's Jer :jer:

If Jer posted here himself right now, he would be considered a n00b, food for thought

I have been around the band since they got together more or less. Careful what you assume about other posters or the guys, or 'hearsay' info based on those assumptions.

Actually, Jer has been a member of the board longer than you. Food for thought.

Also, you have to earn respect here (as anywhere else). Don't come in with your fists up against long-time members. It's not a big deal, just keep that in mind.
