his orgasm before the if you believe solo
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

Thief was, is, and ever shall be my favorite OLP song of all time. Highlights:

"Because this will not go awa-ee"
"There's a house built out in space" < that line always gets me. Every time.
"But I can be your, be your... I'm here"
"It's a long, long getaway"
"this disgusting arrangement"
"everybody ends up here in bottles"

Okay, the whole goshdurn song!

I like the "you squeal" part. and the dum dums on wonderful future. and the hi on car crash. and the whole thing of naveed. Dirty walls is cool because his voice is kinda gritty.

I was then to be part of the mystery,
to love and be loved. Let's just hope that is enough.

Here are a few of mine... (there's a whole lot more, though)

Big Dumb Rocket: That awesome part after the chorus where Raine goes into one of his vocal tangents: "no-uh-hoo-huh-hoo nu-hiiiiiiiiiii uh-hoe-huh.. oh noo-ho... no-uh-hoo-huh-hoo nu-hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeee-yeah-aaah!

Hello Oskar: at the end of the 2nd verse "and he's not himmmmm.... NOT HIMMMMM... SELF!"

Story of 100 Aisles: "depressed... c'mere... tryyyyyyyy thissssss... BOH!!"

Dirty Walls: (This is a really classic song for Raineish!!) "Drryyyyyyiiieeeed up dis-cus--sions--with-out weigh-eeeeeeeit yeah"
"byy sooooooooo you've been PLA-aaaagued... is ev'ry-thin ohh-iiieeeeeee-kayyyy boy... but let it go!"
"yeaaaahhh it's that... FEEL-ing THAT you will nottt ohhhhhh... it's GOTTA GO!... it's GOTTA GOOOOOOOO-ohhhhhaa"

Car Crash: "ohhhh-well it was tooo hard ta tell.... you were SWERV-ing -- they were SWERV-ing.. MUCH TOO LATE..."

Waited: "ohh I must have been bored and knocked down and I... I must have been booooooooooooorred!"

Denied: "but something... ohhh reminds me... that you lied... YEAH YOU LIED!!"
The end vocals/screaming is also GREAT ("tied... ti-hah-hah-hied... NO!! NO!! No-oh.... etc

Under Zenith: "MANN!!!... MA-haa-ANN... I luh-ove I luh-ove how ya let me fall... under, un-der... not too FAR-ar-arrrrr!.. I luh-ove I luh-ove how ya let me fall.. on-ly now I see where... WE ARE!... ho-old, HO-OO-old... meeeee...."

Starseed: "I'm fallin' back un-derrrrr the e-quAAaa-tor..."

The Birdman: "I can't see himmm but he's stalk-ing my thoughts BITE!"

 I love it! Scary thing is, I looked at that post and it made COMPLETE sense....

And let me just add:

Take this time to figure it out, know the wise, the fuse, the things that you doubt,
The wheels, the air, the metal, the mouth (mouth), and something (you), something (you), something...

In Repair kicks curple.

Wow there's so many cool moments, that's what draws most of us to the music i think, some that wern't mentioned would be the entire veres of Sell My Soul, esspecially the i tried part, and "i was in heaven untill this one fell apart'
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

Same here. Booya

And I'm a big fan of Under Zenith... in no other song does Raine do anything like UZ.. the chorus is great with "OHHHHHHH... OHHHHHHH oHhHhHh... leave a little rooooom.. for us to breathe... AYIIIEE!" and "I love I love how you let me FALL.. under under but not too FARRR!" Craziness. I just discovered UZ recently, it's under-appreciated

Most of mine have been mentioned, and I know I'm forgetting a lot, be here it goes:

The Birdman: "Get it on, get it on, get it on, get it on..."
Hope: "And my god she said oh woah-oh oh..."
Naveed: Everything. Seriously. So much emotion and power.
Neon Crossing: "Wrapped in the ar-iarms..." and "Big Neon Crossing"
Superman's Dead: Everything. This was the reason I got into OLP.
Automatic Flowers: "She's crazay-eee"
Big Dumb Rocket: "Mmm mmm hm. Mmm mmm hm. Mmm hmm mmm hmm mmm hmm mmm hmm."
The Story of 100 Aisles: "It's the story of a hundred ai-ai-iles!"
Car Crash: "Ooh, a hoo, it's more than I can bear"
One Man Army: "Save me from this space." "Twitch"
Potato Girl: "But I-e-i-e-i..."
Waited: "Oh I, oh I waited"
Thief: Once again, the whole song is amazing.
Annie: "Uh oh, uh oh. Uh oh, uh oh..."
Consequence of Laughing: That wierd part that Alex mentioned.
In Repair: "Oh I, I have been good"
Middle of Yesterday: the semi-off key "You feel the love, you feel the past. It's all the things you thought you had."
Are You Sad?: Whole song.
Everyone's a Junkie: "Get the feeling out." "Big green monkey, everyone's a junkie (oh oh oh oh) ... (groan, quake)"
All My Friends: Whole song.
If You Belive: "..you'll be strong HEY!"
The Wonderful Future: Beautiful.
All For You: "Jack Kerouac K-K-K-Kerouac"
Innocent: The whole overlaying thing at the end, with the chorus and the bridge.
Sorry: "Oh ma dai, oh wa dai, oh my god. Oh wa dai, oh ma dai, oh my god..."
Bring Back the Sun: Beautiful. Absolutely Beautiful.

Whew. I guess I didn't miss much. lol

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.
