hm...I just woke up, I'm sooo wrecked from last night.

Our school had a grad fundraiser, and it was a Car Rally..and guess who's car Co-won! That's right!

If you dont know what car rally is, you basically all meet an a secluded beach/lookoutpoint and each car gets a list (like a scavenger hunt) and you have from 8:00 till 11:30 the stuff...but its all sorts of illegal stealing and whatnot.

Like things on the list include:
- Bathroon stall door
- Ottawa Sun Box (we got that!)
- Parking meter (someone ACTUALLY got one of those)
- Various pictures of you naked on top of things, in things (bathroom stalls), with people, on buses (hahaa, I had to take of pic as my friend flashed me on a bus then we got off and ran away to the getaway car!)
- Get a piercing that night (my friend got her tragus pierced (but she was going to anyway in the near future)
- Mcdonalds high chair (that was the most fun getting)
- SHopping cart
- gr.9
- random things like Nalgene bottle full of pee, vaginal itch cream, $20 in canadian tire money..

We did soooo well, and it was the most fun night ever. WE ended up Co-winning cause this other all guys car had what they claimed to be the exact amount of points we had..even though we kept recounting and we always came out on top...but they wouldn't admit it, it was pouring raine in a parking lot, so we split the $200, so ya ech of the girls in my car got $20..which is good, but we get to say we co -won car rally, and plus it was rthe funnest night ever.

I had a huge list of gr.9's and i called evry single one..i was like hi, this alaan dyer from LCI, I'm the grad director, I also have the co - prez here, we were wondering if youmight like to come out with us tonight for just an hour...see were doing this fundraiser..

lol. But NONE of them would come w/out a firend, and we only had one spot in the car! oh well, i even got numbers from gr.9's moms and called their friends houses, it was hilarious. Oh well, none of the other cars got a gr.9 either..so it's all good..

I just discovered that the best humorous and satirical newspaper at my school has a website!!! It's www.umich.edu/~uac/threeweeks
woo hoo! Here's an excerpt:

U.S. Sends Creed To Battle Evil Iraq

After months of threats and speculation, the U.S. has made its first effort to destroy the "Axis of Evil" by sending rock band Creed to take on Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

"We have great confidence in Creed," said President Bush. "Who could battle evil better than these guys? Sure, there?s only three of them, but armed with a love of Jesus and an endless supply of power chords, there's no way they can lose."

Scott Stapp (left), shown getting his "war face" on, prepares for battle against Saddam Hussein (right)
Creed lead singer Scott Stapp jumped at the chance to fight Hussein. "Fighting evil is what we're all about. We're just trying to make the world safe for hard-rocking mullet-wearing Christians around the world." Stapp then proceeded to unbutton his shirt and strike a Christ-like pose, which he held for roughly 20 minutes.

"This is what the American people want," said Secretary of State Colin Powell. "They want us to fight Iraq, but they don't want to risk the lives of American soldiers. This way, we either end President Hussein's reign of terror, or all the members of Creed get killed in a grizzly, bloody death. It's win-win."

Meanwhile, President Hussein was not afraid to express his dislike for the rock band. "They're sending in Creed? I don't want them in my country!" said Hussein. Hopefully they'll just try to fight us, and not play 'With Arms Wide Open' again. If I hear that song one more time, I will put Creed in 'Their Own Prison!' I?m so sick of that song!" Hussein then added, "I'm more of a Linkin Park fan. They have one guy who sings, and another guy who raps. Very creative."

While most senators are in favor of sending Creed, Arizona Sen. John McCain remains skeptical. "They've tried using rock bands to fight wars before, but it didn't work," said McCain. "When I was in 'Nam, I had to spend 5 years trapped in a cage with Davy Jones of the Monkees. We all know how that war ended. But I did teach Davy how to play the tambourine. True story."

President Bush also announced plans to fight the other countries in the "Axis of Evil." "The Creed invasion is just the beginning," said Bush. "I'm also sending P.O.D. to fight North Korea, Amy Grant to fight Iran, and Ted Nugent to fight those evil Hawaiians who attacked Pearl Harbor."

Student Given Choice Between True Love and Fifteen Dollars, Chooses Money

NORTH CAMPUS -- Senior Frank "Frankie" Franklin missed his one shot at true love last Monday, when he found fifteen dollars on the sidewalk, but failed to notify the cute girl who may have dropped it.

"I was walking towards Baits, and this really cute girl walked the other way," said Franklin. "About thirty feet in front of me I found fifteen dollars laying on the ground. I wanted to ask if it was hers, but she was already pretty far away. She was still within yelling range, but I just panicked and kept the money."

"I'm such a fucking idiot," continued Franklin. "This was the perfect opportunity. It could have been this great Serendipity moment, just like in that John Cusack movie where he plays a regular guy looking for his true love. I forget what it was called. But I could have just yelled out to her, and I would have been like 'Hey, did you lose some money,' and she would have been like 'Why yes, yes I did. You're so sweet.' Then I'd be all 'Cool. Let's have sex.' And she'd be all 'Sounds good,' and then we'd fall in love and have two kids, Billy and Sara, and my best friend Jeremy Piven would have been all 'I'm so funny that I just want to be your best friend in every movie ever.' Now it will never happen."

"He said that? What a weirdo!" said the girl who lost the money, who wished to remain anonymous.

"Wait a minute, you talked to her?" replied Franklin. "And you didn't even introduce me? The only reason I told you this was so I could meet her! Now I'll never find love, and I will never enjoy this money either. My only choice is to spend the money on a Dashboard Confessional CD so I can wallow in my own misery."

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Good luck man, you'll do fine. Just don't try to rape, and you'll be AOK
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Alana.........this was a school fundraiser? Cause I don't know what kind of school you go to, but around here our school doesn't support us stealing random things and/or people. Hey......it's Canada........who knows whats going on up there. Heh

Having to stay in bed at home sucks ass. I feel like such a loser sitting here when all my friends are out doing fun things  *sigh* Only another week, hopefully. Plus.......OLP three times this month AND my birthday! I'll just repeat that over and over :D
