There will be some people who hear of OLP for the first time through SOT, and will go out and buy all 5 albums and become infatuated like all of us. Some of them might go out and buy all 5 and only like Gravity. Whatever floats your boat. Not everyone can like them. I'm happy with what I've got.
Don't say we're healing when it's just not what we do...
I guess... It's just different now though. I am, of course, very proud of OLP, and they've worked so hard and are finally getting recognition for it. They've always done what they wanted ,and it's all paying off.

i don't think i really mind new fans. i just want to shake them, though, and tell them that there are 4 other GREAT albums. i wish they could have seen the band evolve like the old school fans did.
I will go one better. some one on here said that some kid said OLP have been on Hiatus since CLumsy. A few months back I waslistening to the Interview Raine did with BOOKER of K-Rock(NYC) for some new rock show. Booker asked where has the band been. it has been a few years since the band released anything. Raine said we actually just released a record last year. I thougt to myself what an idiot. If you are fan(which BOOKER claims) wouldn't you know the band released a new record. I mean how do we know of their records. i don't work in radio or anything like that and I was aware the band had music out. I know this album has brought the band new fans they didn't ahve before. it sucks to the die-hards because OLP has never disappeared to us or are new to us. It gets frustraing to alot of people. I wouldn I wouldn't worry about it. Within time the real fans will continue to support the band and the newer ones will either remain or disappear. I actually like the song INNOCENT. I don't like the cideo, then again I dpon't like alot of their videos, but i still; love the music and the live shows.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of. That Happiness and SM will be forgotten forever. It's great that there's new fans and stuff, but it's just a shame that the older stuff doesn't get recognized as much as it should. It doesn't really matter though, because OLP has true fans like us who support them all the way.

I'm a little confused. Songs of Clumsy were really popular, yes. That's as far back as i can remember. and then came Happiness. I thought OMA was popular/played a lot. Or am I imagining things? So was IAH and Thief. and then Spiritual Machines. In Repair was played a lot, and come on, LIFE. you can't just say that they're JUST starting to get popular and that people don't know these things... they must live in caves. caves i tell you! you cant blame them for their poor, terribly sheltered lives.
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know
Life got some airplay here..but nothing from Happiness... was even remotely popular. There were underground fans who raved about how great it was..but I've never once heard any songs from that album on the radio.
