Uh, I've been around since the early eighties. That would make me... eighteen. Yes, that's right.

I hope I haven't bumped this thread too far.

Anyway, I'm 16...been a fan since 13 or so. You can blame that on my older brother, who's 18 and been a fan for five years.
There is also my cousin who is going to be 16 in a couple months, in for about a year.

I skimmed through most of the thread, and I have kind of a confession  My little brother is 12, a fan for 2 or 3 years (his twin sister has no real opinon on the band.) OLP was his first concert...and he was 10 at the time. It was in a medium size theater, we were near the back and out of the way of most trouble. No going near the stage, no letting him out of my sight. My older brother went off with his girlfriend, so I was the only watching my other sibling during the show. Nothing bad happened, he really enjoyed himself.

I know, it might come off as a little irresponsible, but it was ultimately my parent's decsion, and I think it was mostly because of where we were sitting that he got to come with us (he was absolutely forbidden from our local radio festival and an Incubus show when we had floor tickets, for example.) He came to a show with my cousin and I in August of this year, which was another small venue, and another where I couldn't let him out of my sight.

I guess it really depends on the kid and the parents. I hope that didn't leave a bad first impression on any of you. :)

Welcome to the board meat. You will be Lori's new bitch now.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

What's a doppelganger?
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

I think when I was 12 I was pretending to like OLP out of peer pressure :freak:

Hate to admit it, but I've only been a fan for about 2 years now. Though I went from casual fan to hardcore in about day lol

I started liking OLP when I was around 12. I forgot about them for two years, and became interested again sometime after I turned 15. I'm 16 now, so I've been a fan for all of 3 or 4 years. I'm making up for the lost time with my current obsessiveness. (Is that a word? Whatever...)
