Hmm... you can tell none of y'all were big on midi's. Before Mp3's they were the SH**! I had hundreds of Midis before the MP3 outbreak. (which included all three of these ones)

and wav files. I made wav files of my favourite song quotes. my friends and I would go into chat rooms & channels & have whole conversations by just playing wavs to each other.

Su7an: I bet Duncan can fly. He's just holding out on showing that skill off. 8O
joe_canadian: Yeah, one day at a concert he'll just stop playing and be like

well... harddrives weren't big enough to hold full wav rips of songs.. we're talking 40 megs a piece baby! So whenever I made a wave.. it didn't last long. :P

yeah, I learned that the hard way. my laptop had a little over 500 mb of space. most of my wavs were single lines from songs... ummm... and quotes from band members, like Chris Cornell & Layne Staley & Dave Navarro. *cough*

yeah... so you had to listen to midis instead, which back then was amazing technology. I thought it was the coolest and played them for my friends... they just kinda looked at me like, whatever.

The thing is you gotta get a good synthesizer. Most of you guys are probably just playing them with winamp or media player or somthing. Way back I had a yamaha synthesizer and believe you me, it makes a world a difference. But with MP3's now, why bother right?
