barrier! thats the fuckin word!
lmao
no.. not the balcony.. we had floors.. just not literally on the floor.. just one step up from the floor right up against the barrier dealie.. basically the only ppl moving there was us.. and that was cuz we kept trying to figure out how to get the flag up high enough (damn me .. im shorter than the twins lol) so yeah.. it was still floors essentially.. just 1 step higher and a good view.. not rough at all so we could breathe and shit.. which is good since we were all dead.. lol..
how does one forget the word "barrier" its so simple... lmao.. and i just got called from the dad of a friend who i left a msg for earlier.. he had no clue who it was or what it was about.. he thinks im drunk damn it.. lol

Yeah Bethany, we REALLY do appreciate the ticket :)

megxyz128.... you're welcome! :) ... your shirts were soooo cool I just HAD to tell Stace about them! I'm sorry I don't remember all your names.... that could have something to do with the fact that the only sleep I had since 4am yesterday morning was the 50 minutes on a concrete bench outside teh bus station in Windsor at 5:30 this morning. hehe not to mention the 2 or so hours on the bus. I have had like 15 hours of sleep since Sunday night. I am exhausted! But enough about me, your shirts rocked! I can't wait to see the pictures! ttyl!

The aftermath ...

Post by Kicker774 »

Good to see I'm not the only one whose either hurting and/or forgetful of simple words.

My knee is killing me from being bascially proped up against it the whole time trying to shove people back. I had my arm logged between Beth and some chick next to her hanging onto the barrier for some leverage while trying to shove people back to the center.

I got home by 1 and was dead tired but I drank so much mountain dew to stay awake on the drive home I couldn't get to sleep. Then by the time I was finally drifitng to sleep I was like half awake but half dreaming and I was dreaming I was on the interstate or something. All I can remember is seeing the road and it just tilting back and forht untill I woudl wake up and then the process woudl begin again as soon as I started goin back to sleep.

So after maybe 4 hours of decent sleep I had to get up and open work at 9 this morning and I've been pretty lazy (Well even more so) all day.

I'm trying to do normal tasks around here and I jsut have to sit and think a sec of what I actually need to do. (To open door: insert key attached to alarm thingamig, turn key clocwise, turn door handle clockwise, ummm err, pull door ... pull door ... umm oh yea PUSH door) luckily it's been a slow day.

But enough ranting it's almost 6 and I need to umm .. close.

WOW first off great reviews. I can't beleive they put back in *In Repair* I hope it makes it to the October set list.

You guys who traveled alot of hours and got next to nothing sleep now know what it is like for me when I go see OLP. I hardly sleep tp begin with because I have insomia, but when I travel to see OLP it is worse. I can't tell you how many times Raine has asked me how I do it. I don't know I just do. I am mentally preparing myself now for October. That will be fun and I can't wait.

The Cincinatti show they were talking to fans till about 2am and same with Cleveland it was late.

they do the meet and greets then will talk to fans outside. I think they wind down after the show. In Cincinatti they had pizza and beer outside the theatre. They pulled out these folding chairs and just hung out. I think unless they have along drive they hang for a while to wind down from the show. I know they get hotels just to freshen up.

hey guys

wow i know i say this every time, but that was seriously the best concert i've ever been to. i met a lot of awsome ccers and cmers (you guys might remember me as the obsessive jeremy girl with the 7 shirt and glasses). i think i can die happy now that i've seen the birdman dance :D :D

unfortunately, my mom wouldn't let me stay after and wait for the band...i wanted to talk to mike soooo badly but i had school today :(

oh and bethany, no those bastards stole it

kicker: were you the guy in the summersault shirt standing next to bethany?

Hey ingrateful bitch, you're welcome for the tickets. You better fucking pay me back for them.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

yeah i left my house at 7 thinking i was only going miss the first couple songs, but do to the huge line and delayed start i didn't, and like always found myself in the second row between raine and steve right after "all for you". today i felt the effects of going there sick and after football practice, i couldn't even get out of bed this morning not to mention i lost 12 pounds yesterday, but it was all so worth it, definately the best olp show i have been to all year.
