Someone broke into my car and stole the Cd's I had in there. Included were Naveed, Clumsy, and Happiness.... Bastards. They only left Blink 182 which I dont listen to anymore

I feel your pain. When I was in TORONTO( :evil:

), our car got broken into and they stole my bookbag, which had all of my OLP cd's in it...along with some other stuff. Not going into details, you all know the story.

Did I ever buy new cd's? Nope. No money.

no...Toronto is the Devil city. I've never had anything stolen in Detroit...the murder capital of the Nation, but Toronto, they smash our window and steal my bookbag.

I still love the city, but I will always hold a serious grudge against it.

I was talking to someone yesterday and I mentioned Canada. they said "Canada? isn't that a suburb of Detroit?" I thought it was funny. I love Canada. you hosers rawk. :love:

If anyone can feel your pain it is me. I had my work bag stolen back in June. I had 12 CD's in it (Naveed, A burnt copy of Grvity, A OLP bootleg, All You Can't Leave Behind, Acthung Baby and a live bootleg form U2, Golden State-Bush, Fallout-Default, Tangents-TTP-which isn't sold in the states, Morning Glory-David usher-not sold here either, Under these Rocks and Stones, CA oringinal release-Cahantal Kreviazuk-not sold here, and a mixed CD my friend made me for my birthday). I also had a Canada-Olympic Roots sweat/jacket, my work clothes and odds and ends here and there. I was upset at the time. TO have my favorite CD's. taken. Naveed and Acthung Baby are 2 of my all time faves. The U2 bootleg was from a NY show I went to in October which I won. But to tell you the truth, I got over it. At least I had my bag on me with all my money, credit cards, keys and such.

I saw OLP a few days later. I was talking to Duncan and Steve telling them about it. Duncan told me to not buy Naveed he will get me a copy. I also was talking with Mike. he told me they all dug the U2 cd I gave to Raine. I gave him a copy of the CD I just had stolen. I told Mike, well I don't have it anymore. It was stolen. he said why don't you ask Raine to give it back to make a copy. I said I don't know. he walked on the bus, came back with the cd and said that Raine called me an Indian giver. I was a bit shocked. I did give it back to him a few days later. and Yes , Duncan did get me Naveed.

I still have to get the TTP, and David usher cd's replacee. With the help of friends, and ebay, I managed to replace them, but it was a real pain. Now adays I tend not ot carry too many cd's with me. I don't want that happening again.

Fluttergirl. My friend told me that alot of people don't know where Canada is. I thought she was joking. I mean how can you not know Canada as well as Mexico make up North America with the US.. Last year I went to a show and there were these kids there talking. They mentioned that there were some kids from Canada at the show, then said Oh boy Canada, isn't that like New Jersey. I was a bit shocked. I mean Christ what are they teaching in history classes. Now, mind you I am not good with geography, but I know that Canada is a country. I just find that sad.

BTW, Canada is a subburb of New York, not Detroit. Gezz, don't you know anything. :lol:

hey, it was the other person who said it was a suburb of Detroit. I spent a lot of time in Canada as a kid, so I always knew where it was.

I don't carry my original cds with me anymore. I ripped all my bootlegs and original cds to mp3s and I just burn copies to listen to when I'm out on the road. that way if I lose my cd book or it gets stolen I won't have to have a nervous breakdown. I'd just buy another spool of cds and burn new copies. modern technology is grand. it's also nice to not have to worry about scratching a cd.

I know that. I was just answering back to your post because you said you met people who thought Canada was a suburb of Detroit. As for the CD thing. SOmeof us don't have the luxury of burning CD's. I don't own a computer so i don't have Mp3 or things like that. :love:
