Oh and THEY PLAYED IN REPAIR!! I seriously, could not have been more surprised.

Yay and I got to meet a bunch of people from the CM and CC :D

And I dono if he comes here but thanks to KRUNO for telling Stacey about our shirts

<---- incredibly jealous

I wish I could've spoken with Steve. That's all I wanted to do.

oh yeah, we saw the Birdman dance!!! hehe!

If it wasn't for the PUSHING and SHOVING and being packed, I'd have a better review of this concert. I've never seen a better performance from the whole band. They all rocked!!!

You'll get a review tomorrow. I'm tired.

If we're going to be describing the concert in one word then:
BRIDMAN!

Too bad there isn't a smiley for jaw wide open in oragsmic awe.

Details later I spose.

yeah!!!!!! BIRDMAN!!!! *sigh* with the strobe lights!!!!

and In Repair...and Neon Crossing...what was he saying? I couldn't understand, he went on for about 3 minutes repeating the same thing over and over again.

ahh! and then when he climbed onto the boulder thingy ahh!!!! Right above our heads!!!!!

And Steve!!!! Steeeeeeve! We had a little fan club going on on the Steve Section.

I've never seen Raine so emotional before in my life. He was awesome. They all were awesome!

That was my favorite concert...but the worst in terms of the crowd and not being able to talk to the band.

I wonder who Raine saluted to in the balcony. I didn't catch that.

ahhhh!!!! such a great concert.

BEST SHOW EVER. The crowd was crazy (at least where I was, center of main floor 3 or 4 rows back) m shirt is drenched still, but it was worth it. ANd meeting the band after was great.

what an amazing show.......i drove from Hamilton, ON to Detroit (almost 4 hrs) and it was worth every minute.......a 2 hour setlist including a 5 song encore.....in repair and neon crossing (with a tragically hip cover mixed in) were awesome surprises......oh, and the IAH intro was NOT "the simple things in life" it WAS "it's all the same for you"......i could hear it perfectly.......i think he makes up something new every show now????....another amazing performace by an amazing band......i cant wait to see them again in London on OCT 13......woohoo :D
Is there something good, something more?

oh! Is that what he was singing? A Tragically Hip song? I had no idea what it was (I don't listen to the Hip) and my ear was right in front of the speaker, so it's hard to understand him...Raineglish.

Yes, again BIRDMAn and NEON CROSSING!!!

The strobe light was awsome when it was the stripes and raine was staing right in front of it form our perspective. Awsome.

Neon Crossing he kept repeating the lyrics bulilding up and teasing the audience. I caught on to it after the first few times. The other extended/secret lyrics I didn't understand (Except for the small part of Life)

Then Rainie in front of us climbing the speaker and then hopping onto the pedestal, that was sweet. I got to see the same thing in fonrt of me at the Toledo show at Main Event.

And Pete Townshend was Steve ever on fire that night!!! I was so hoping he would do a jump of the drum stand and do a windmill. He needs to watch more WHO concerts.

No doubt here BEST CONCERT EVER!!

Crowd wasn't too bad from my point of view Toledo was the worst I got shoved back from 3-4th row back to 10 or so by the time OLP hit the stage. I was trying my best to absorb the pushing and shoving around you Beth but it was getting too much by the end. Hope I didn't smoosh you too much. It was worth it though right?

Worst part of the show was just the drive up there. Northbound I-75 was only down to one lane going into Detroit. And I thought Ohio was bad.

Did I mention BIRDMAN!!!

Thanks for trying to save me from the psycho crowd.

Do you mean the Toledo Hard Hat or Main Event? I didn't think the Hard Hat was bad at all...but I was exactly where I was yesterday, and it wasn't crowded. That was my 4th OLP concert, so I wasn't used to the intensity of the crowd.

I liked when Steve jumped up and down. Reminded me of myself...I jump up and down during concerts, but I definitely couldn't for this one...no room! lol I think Steve was showing off for us...since he's from Michigan.

We really lucked out with the crowd surfers! Only one came by my way and hit one of Megan's friends in the head. :( Where Alan and Steph were, I guess the crowd was worse, they got hit a few times by the crowdsurfers. :( Crazy Detroit fans!

Steph: Did you end up getting your camera back??? That really sucks that they took it. :(

Ahh!!! I'm just realizing how awesome that concert was! It's "setting in" If someone didn't bootleg it...grr!

*looks at clock* ahh...gotta get to class. Must finish raving about concert later.

When did you get to the concert?

I had to skip my last class to drive from CMU to U of M. Then me and a few friends got to the show around 530. The crowd surfers were bad near us. I crap on the new OLP shirt I bought and I had to protect some girls that were getting squashed. Luckly I got the guns to do so.
