The couple of times I've been to circuit city they weren't near as neat as best buy. The staff wasn't as friendly, and when I was shopping for a cd burner, all of the ones I had looked at in Best Buy where 20-50 bucks more expensive at Circuit City.

Hmmm...

Anyway.

The lifehouse thing makes me sad. I was hoping they'd be something more. :(

circuit city isn't as much as an amateur store you need to know what you want...

Yeah, maybe, but at my Circuit City (boy, it sounds like we OWN THESE THINGS, DON'T WE), even when I know what I'm looking for, I find myself searching 10 minutes for it.

Best Buy, I walk in, and BAM, there's the CD racks -- filled with god knows how many CDs, all ABC'd. BAM, behind it is the DVD shelves. BAM, there's computer software and hardware just beside the CD racks. It's so organized.

But, then again... my Best Buy's like, the greatest one of them all (they had "Best of Best Buy" banners for, say, 10 months straight, and "Best of Best Buy Regional" banners for the other two). I was intimidated, tell you the truth...

But, anyway... Tuesday: Disturbed's Believe, Panic Room, and Monsters Inc. are coming home with me.

Friday, Kingdom Hearts shall do the same.

All this after spending $120 bucks on two tickets each for a Strokes concert and an OLP concert(!).

I love having money. I love spending it more. :D
OW! She really don't like it... rock the casbah, rock the casbah!

the first cd really wasnt bad at all but this one is incredibly boring. there is maybe 2 decent songs on the whole cd. they took the mellow thing a little too far. ah well it was 8.99 but i could have spent that on the Finch or Glassjaw cd.

Yeah, I knew that Lifehouse would be boring; I don't know why I bought it either. It's not bad, it's just boring...

I think he means Disturbed, who used to be a fairly poor heavy-metal band that had Korn-ish verses and extremely distasteful bridges(Down With The Sickness) but seem to have actually gotten good with their new song, Prayer.

Disturbed are utterly, utterly crap - poorly-formed, teenage-angst-filled rubbish.

disturbed sucks...that new song 'prayer' is just as bad, if not worse than their earlier stuff. i had to listen to a mix cd the other day with 4 of their songs...it was serious torture
