it actually depends.

usually it is just the band plays, but sometimes Jay talks to them if he has time. SOmetimes he will have them sit on the couch for the goodbyes or he will talk to them for about 2 minutes. the other guest tonight are Bernie Mac and Jill Hennessy.

too bad we don't know anyone who would of went. It tapes from 5:30PM to 6:30 PM.

oh wait it is only about 4:45PM :LA time.

also guys if you miss it. Jay Leno usually repeats the show the next week at 2:30AM( at least here in NYC) I can't remember when, but it is always repeated the following week or so.

also they are repeating the Conan show on the 21st, I believe and on the 22nd on Comedy Central.

Poor Raine. I seriously think he despises that song.

:| That looked almost like a carbon copy of the Kilborn show, except that he was a little more energetic towards the end.

neh..it wasn't bad. i agree...i think raine looks like he hates that song, but he put more energy into it this time. i like how he kinda went nuts there towards the end. very old school. hey did anyone else catch the gravity commercial during leno? whohhooo...it's like they've gone network. i freaked out. all in all i'm satisfied with the performance. i think it was better than the other SOT ones they've done for air.

well i have a couple thoughts. One when your new single is released u fucking play it every chance u get, not a song thats falling of the charts. Also SOT really does sound bad live although steve kicked ass. And three Raine please cut your hair man.

Exactly .. it would have made more sense to play Innocent .. not a song that people are beginning to get sick of or are already sick of. Are they wearing the same clothes or have they upgraded their wardrobe? :P

 it is almost borderline mullet now...so yeah...Raine buddy, please cut it. And i know this comes up EVERY time they do a TV performance, and before I was like, "yeah, whatever floats your boat", but once it almost becomes longer than mine....I start to draw the line.

Yeah, I was really disappointed that they didn't play "Innocent". I knew they were doing SOT, cause that's what was planned but i think it would have been nice if they would have come out and fooled everyone.

I don't remember what Jeremy was wearing, but Steve had on his normal black shirt  , Duncan, his normal greyish t-shirt, but Raine was wearing a black OMA-ish black button down long sleeved shirt.

Raine really does need to cut his hair, lol. That was the first time Megan (roomie) actually saw the band perform anything, and the first thing she said is, "Raine is an ugly guy!" I was like :wtf: "What are you talking about!!?!?" It's the hair...it's not too flattering. lol. I gotta show her some pics from a few years ago.

I wonder if Sony tells them to be less active during these talk show performances or something.

You know... technically SOT is their biggest hit. It's done better than any other single that they have ever recorded. I'm not saying that it's their best song, but there is a reason for them playing it all the time. If the end up doing Letterman, they'll play it then too. I'm just hoping that they get to play SNL so that they can play more then one song, since I can't see them live.

I fell asleep last night before it Leno came on, so I just downloaded it. (thanks Clumsythief & Al!). man, sometimes it's just painful to watch and listen to Raine. he didn't sound good last night and he looked like he was practically in pain. if last night's performance doesn't keep kids away from the live shows, I don't know what will. which is a damn shame, considering that they put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

Raine definitely needs a haircut. and would someone buy Steve a new shirt? thx.

Su7an: I bet Duncan can fly. He's just holding out on showing that skill off. 8O
joe_canadian: Yeah, one day at a concert he'll just stop playing and be like
"Yo muthafuckas! Wheeeeee!" and zoom off into the horizon

^^ Sadly true, all their TV performances seem just aweful, and I don't know why because they are SO good in concert. Maybe the get nervous? That's the only thing I can think. This is why I am personally volunteering to travel on the road with them and give them all big hugs before all TV performances. I just think that would bring their level of performance up a notch.
